Little Peanut in 4D

Justin and I took the girls to see Little Peanut today. Since we have never had a 4D ultrasound before, I thought it would be fun to see this little one with one. It was so much fun! We think this baby is a good combination of Lainie Bug and Emmie. He or she definitely has a round face with some CHEEKS to go along with it! All three of our kids have had some serious cheeks. Love it! We still didn't find out what the baby is, but Justin and I have our guesses after today. What do you think?

Happy 4th Birthday, Lainie Bug!

Happy 4th Birthday Lainie Bug! Although you have claimed that you were 4 years old since the month of May, you are actually just turning 4 today! Your Daddy and I could not be more proud of you. You are such a sweet, sensitive, shy yet sassy, smiley, super cute girl. We just love you so much!

In honor of your special day, we are doing lots of your favorite things....Krispy Kreme doughnuts for breakfast, watching movies, Jump Zone, Garcia's for dinner, and then singing "Happy Birthday" at home over cookie cake. Mommy showed you all of the cookie cakes online for you to choose one, and you chose the airplane. I kept asking you if you wanted a kitty cat, a bear, a frog, ballet shoes, etc., but you were positive that the airplane cookie cake was the one for you!

Hope you have a super special birthday today. Love you so much, sweet girl!

The Poll

Um, I don't know whether to laugh or cry that the numbers on my poll to the right are boy: 17 girl: 7. Is this just a mean joke? If you know me well, you know my issues with this. Ha!

Little Peanut

Can you believe that we are only weeks away from meeting Little Peanut? This pregnancy has flown by. I guess when I am running around with two little girls, it makes the time go by much faster. The girls and I went to see Dr. Crowe yesterday and the baby is measuring right where he or she should be. We scheduled the c-section for Thursday, October 14....less than two months away!

As crazy as it sounds, Justin and I are looking forward to being in the hospital during football season. Ha! It helps the time pass when there are great football games to watch on TV. The girls were both born during the summer months when there were re-runs for TV shows and no football games. Oh, the little things that make us happy. We already have an Auburn outfit for Peanut to wear as we cheer on the Tigers! :) I can hardly wait to meet and hold this precious little blessing.

The Birthday Bash

We decided to do a joint birthday party for the girls this year as they turned 4 and 2 years old. We came to this conclusion for a few reasons....a) their birthdays are only a few weeks apart b) I'm pregnant and huge these days c) it is hotter than blue blazes around here and who has the energy to do more than one party in these temps d) the girls really don't know the difference and e) did I mention that I am pregnant and huge?

The girls celebrated their big days at Jump Zone with pizza and cupcakes. Everyone had lots of fun! My parents and Uncle Bennie came in town for the festivities and Uncle Michael joined us that weekend. Lainie picked the theme for the party....Tinkerbell!
