My 3 Girls

Last Day of School

It is hard to believe that this school year is already over. I feel like we were just meeting the girls' teachers at their new school. Lainie and Emmie both had such a great year this year and really learned so much.
Lainie really blossomed more this year than ever before and is just so smart. Her school uses the program "Handwriting without Tears." She writes so well and recognizes words already. In fact, we were watching TV this morning and she saw "Luke" on the screen and recognized it. It is hard to believe that she technically could start Kindergarten in the fall. Justin and I have decided to send her to Pre-K 5 instead since her birthday is so late.
Emmie still cried when I would drop her off for school every morning, but did great this year. She loved her teachers and would always say she had fun when I went to pick her up. She learned so many songs and can sing them all at home. She also learned her colors, shapes and numbers. She is such a big girl! Now, if we could just get her potty trained! :D
Here they are on their last day of school! Lainie is 4 years and 9 months and Emmie is 2 years and 10 months).

Squeaky Clean

Ellie is definitely a bit on the wild side! When she first started sitting up, she would just throw herself around without any fear at all. She has actually gotten much better recently with her balance and coordination. However, she still will make me a nervous wreck in the bathtub because I never know when she might just throw herself back out of excitement and hit her head. Justin and I were walking through Target one day and we found this little inflatable duck bathtub! It is perfect for Miss Priss and she loves it! Here are a few pics of our squeaky clean girl in her safe, soft bathtub!

Field Day

The girls had Field Day at school a few weeks ago. Ellie and I decided to go watch the girls and eat lunch with them afterwards. There were about 10 stations set up and each class would rotate from one to the next. It was supposed to be outside, but with this crazy weather, it ended up being in the 40's on Field Day (in May!). Needless to say, I had to pull out some clothes for cold weather and the school decided to hold the activity indoors. One week we are playing in the sprinkler, and the next we have winter clothes on participating in Field Day inside. How crazy is that?
Don't let these pictures fool you. Little Miss Em participated in about 2 events and decided that she would just follow me around to watch Lainie the rest of the time. She is such a Mommy's girl and doesn't leave my side, especially at school!

Fun in the Sprinkler

This has not been a hit for my girls until this year, but playing in the sprinkler has been a blast for them so far this year. They LOVE it! Of course, they both decided that they needed their umbrellas while running through the water. These pictures were actually taken a few weeks ago, but they have enjoyed this activity a few times already.

Hanging in There

Wow! I am so behind on blogging I honestly don't even know where to start. It is harder and harder to find time to sit down and post things. I am, however, determined to get caught up! I will start with some cute pics of Elles Belle hanging around in her Johnny Jumper. This is one of her favorite daily activities. I have it hanging between our bedroom and bathroom, so she plays in it while we are getting ready in the morning. She loves it!
