We're back again!

So, we're really bad at this whole blog thing. I can't believe it's been 4 months. Oh my, but anyway we will try to be better. I guess our lives are just moving so fast. Things are going really well here in Oregon. We are both so busy and hardly get any time together. Sam is busy with his tough class load, and basketball. He is really enjoying himself though. He finally gets a taste of the upper level chem and bio classes, which I've been struggling through. It's good for him though. Basketball is going well. They just kicked off their pre-season on Halloween night at University of Portland. They won, it was such an exciting game. His toe is still hurt and really were just hoping that these orthodics his poditrist put him in on Saturday will begin to reduce the swelling. I think it will take a bit before we can tell if it is healing but the goal with those is to take the pressure off his toe and that way the inflamation will go down and the toe will heal. I guess we can only hope for the best.
As for me, I'm working hard and going to school as well. I'm currently working at Salem Gastroenterology. It's been great. Sam's old bishop got me the job here as a medical assistant. I am really enjoying myself. I'm only taking one class, my class class so that I can start to apply to nursing school. And I'm going through that process right now. It's crazy that the time has finally come. It's very difficult to get in here, much more difficult than in Utah. But we'll just keep our hopes up and hopefully I will get in.
Well, I think that sums up the last little while. Sorry, no fun pictures, but we just don't take very many. We will get better at that!

Settled in our apartment...

... but only to get packed up and move in August. We have only been here for a couple of weeks and have made ourselves at home. Well, kind of. We are staying in a friends apartment which is furnished so it's not really ours. We are house sitting, to some extent, with paying a few bucks for rent. It's been great though, we haven't had to really "buy" any house stuff yet. Nor have we gotten to dig into our new wedding gifts. But as soon as we find our home in Oregon, we will be getting right on that. I am so excited for us to move. It will be a great adventure for both of us together.

So Sam and I decided to start our blog. Now that we are married, and the honeymoon is over, we have time to blog all about it. We've had a blast being married and being together. The wedding was great, and the honeymoon was awesome. We went to Laguna Beach and stayed there in our uncle Steve and aunt Connie's house. It was so fun, the house was so unique. It was a great vacation and so nice after all the wedding stresses. We also had our reception in Oregon which turned out so well. Here are some pics from our day and from our honeymoon.
