Trunk-or-Treat and 31!
{Jake's birthday is actually tomorrow, October 29th, but we are heading down to Disneyland for the weekend to attend Mickey Mouse's Halloween Party. It is a surprise to the kids, we can't wait to tell them in the morning and head down. Because we will be in Disneyland for Jake's actual birthday we celebrated it tonight. He opened presents and then we sang and had 'eclairs' and ice cream. I found this awesome place in Tempe that does enormous eclairs and ordered one for his 'cake' this year. Jake isn't a cake fan, but LOVES eclairs, so this was a great surprise and treat for him. This eclair could feed 30 people, it was huge! Happy 31 babe, I love you more than you can imagine!}

{Last night was our Ward Halloween party. It was outside at the neighborhood park. The weather was amazing, we have never been able to spend much time outside during Halloween. The kids didn't have to wear coats, and they played and played! It was about 70 degrees. I made a huge pot of my mom's amazing chili for the chili cook off. The rest of the night consisted of pie eating contest, cup cake walk, face painting, and lots of playing and socializing...Oh, and of course the TRUNK OR TREAT. The kids loved doing the trick-or-treating out of the cars. Jake and I really enjoyed ourselves and enjoyed getting to know our amazing ward better. We feel so blessed. Here are some pics of the kids from last night. Of course I wasn't able to get a decent picture of the kids together in their costumes, but Kaiden was a Transformer, Optimus Prime and Maggie was a Sugar Plum Fairy.}

{Specialist=No answers}
Here is the latest on my "SKIN CONDITION".
I have now broken out on my "B's" butt, boobs, and belly. As of tonight my whole back and left forearm have broken out. It is miserable. I ITCH so badly. I pace around the house, trying not to think about it, but when almost every inch on my body is covered in "itchy hives" you do go crazy. I was telling my sister the other day that if this skin specialist (I saw him yesterday) told me he didn't know what was going on and couldn't give me relief, that I was better off in a Mental Institution...seriously, I am going MAD! I keep on having break downs, and Jake has to calm me down. But seriously, it isn't his body, he doesn't have to live like this day in day out, with very little relief. He has been wonderful though. He keeps all my creams, lotions and sprays going! I feel so bad for him and my kids. Some days it is so bad that I am drugged up on histamine blockers, that knock me out. Let me say again, still nothing really works.
Yesterday morning Jake and I went to yet, another Doctor. I had a break down the other day because no specialists could even fit me in until the end of the year, hello!, that is when the baby is coming, I should be cured by then!!! Anyway, I cried (literally) to my Doctor, and told him I couldn't live like this and I needed help. He was kind enough to make some personal calls to some specialist to get me in this week. Which we did, we saw a skin specialist yesterday. Here is what he thinks:
*may or may not be related to pregnancy
*because I am pregnant there is VERY LITTLE he can do to treat me
*it should go away once I have the baby, and if not he can do more to treat me after the baby is here...(really?!)
*it is NOT hives! (duh!)
*he really has no idea what it is, but is treating me for Psoriasis (I DO NOT have Psoriasis all over my body...it is ridiculous that he even said that!)
*the new medication he gave me is a spray steroid that I can only be on for 2 weeks, and have to be extremely careful with due to pregnancy and one of the side effects is it thins your skin and gives you stretch marks....oh, lovely, just what I need on top of stretching already! :)
*if there isn't improvement in 2 weeks he will go in and biopsy my spots? (What my whole body?...I am going to look like Frankenstein, too bad he can't do the biopsy next week for Halloween, it would be the perfect costume!)
*he doesn't think, but hasn't ruled out the possibility of it being PUPPP (the acronym for being allergic to pregnancy)
Well, sign me up and admit me in the best Mental Hospital. It doesn't look like there is a end to this anytime soon, and it keeps on getting worse. (Jake can you take me tonight?)
Here are some pictures of what my "condition" looked like on Thursday.
{During one of my "panic breakdowns" the other day, there was a knock on the door, and these were there! Aren't they amazing? They have brought me so much happiness and joy this week and through this very hard trial. My sweet in-laws sent them to me from UT! Thank you! Thank you!}

{Now What?}
Last night we went to the ER and was there from 6:45 PM until after mid-night. They hooked me up to an IV, took a bunch of blood and then put two different kinds of meds in the IV. One being benydryl, that made me so tired and dizzy. Came back in unhooked the IV and said, "your blood work looks great, except your Anemic, (which I already knew) other than that, we just think it is a crazy pregnancy rash. Make your self comfortable, use ice, take benydryl and come back if it gets worse." My nurse said, "it looks like you might be allergic to pregnancy." So after a long expensive night at the hospital, I am in the same condition as I was before, nothing helped. The meds knocked me out, took some swelling down, but not much relief, and this morning I have new patches, and the old patches are just the same, no change. SO NOW WHAT?!

{OUCH!!!}
{I just got back from the Dr. and here are pics, mainly for my mom and sister. The Doctors, yes, plural, have no idea what I have. I DO NOT HAVE HIVES! They really worried me when they all sat around twisting and turing my legs talking Dr. talk and using some pretty intense lingo. It isn't good when they say, "We have no idea what this is. But we can't treat you because you are pregnant, and there isn't anything we can really do over the weekend. You need to see a specialist and have intensive blood work done. You should go to the ER." The Nurse Practitioner said, "I am on call all week, call me if anything changes. Go directly to the ER if you get more patches (which I am) and if you feel funky. You can Google what we think it is but it is kinda scary. Just go to the ER." SO! That is that. As you can tell, I am not at the ER. I am going to give it a few hours to see if it gets worse or if the pain gets worse. Jake wants to take me in NOW, but I am dragging my feet. What if it is something silly, but his argument is what if it is something SERIOUS?! I guess we will see. What do you think? I will keep you all posted, since this is the easiest way to do it and I can also show pics of the progress of the "mystery skin condition"}
{Today, Friday-Day 3. I went to the Dr. yesterday morning and he got me a RX and over the counter stuff, but nothing is working on theses hives. I am back to the Dr. in a few hours. I have several new patches popping up. It is very painful and very itchy, the only relief I get is if I have ice on it. The pictures make it not look as bad as it really is, honestly my legs look distorted.OUCH!}
