Our September was full and busy. Here is what we have been up to.
***
We loved this year and all the monsoon rain we received--it felt like an abnormally wet summer to us--but we were not complaining!
***
Its finally starting to cool down...lower 100's and hight 90's but to us that is a lot cooler than 118.
So we have been spending a little bit more time outside. We can't wait until the end of October to really feel the cool down.

We tried a new babysitter this month. She is a doll and left this print out for us when we got home along with a little gift she left on the pillow of each of our children... she told them the "pillow fairy" was gong to visit and leave a surprise. It was awesome!

I was finally able to get my act together and plan a party for Kaiden's birthday which was August 11. We invited some of his new friends from school and the ward/neighborhood. It was nothing big and fancy, but it was fun. Jake was at a group project so I managed eight-- six year olds and my two girls by myself...it was a bit crazy but we managed.
I wasn't able to take to many pictures of the actual party...I only have two hands! :)

| Pinata. It only got hit 4 times before one of the kids busted it. It ended the game really quickly, that is when I realized I should of had another back up game. haha! |
Kaiden loved his party and was so happy to have his close friend help him celebrate.

Our house is starting to look a bit Halloween-ish!

Jake was out of town for work so I took the kids to Cold Stone. They love it there.
***
Maggie had a preschool field trip to the local fire station We had a great time and learned a lot. Right when the firemen were wrapping up the tour the bell went off and they were in the truck and driving away within 30 seconds. It was the perfect ending to the tour.

The kids and I are heading to North Carolina this week for two weeks. We are so excited to see my parents and sisters! We get home and have two days to unpack before Jake and I head to Mexico for a week. We had to cancel our traditional Halloween Disneyland trip because Mexico fell over that same time--and with us both in school we couldn't pull it off. I was lucky enough to find a friend who bought the Disney packet from me. We are so sad we aren't going --its been a tradition of ours for a few years now. There is always next year. It's another crazy and fun month for us!
