Our first resource book is now available to buy! Published by Proost as part of their pocket liturgies series, it features tried and tested prayers, liturgies, meditations and worship activity ideas from our community. To buy your copy of Sanctuary Pocket Liturgies (either as a traditional book format for £7 or as a pdf download for £3.50) visit our friends at Proost. While you’re there, you might want to check out the other volumes in this series, authored by London based community Grace, Telford’s Safe Space, and Bradford based poet Sophie Dutton.
If you’ve got our book please let us know what you think – we’re currently developing ideas for our next resource and feedback is always helpful!
Our All-Age Communion liturgy from Greenbelt 07 is now available to download as a pdf. The sheets contain a complete order of service with instructions for activities, a list of equipment required and liturgies and prayers for the communion. Click on the link below to download the pdf. If you came to the service at Greenbelt and want to get hold of the ‘twelve stations’ animation we played during the service, you can download it from Proost for just £1.99
We’ve been a bit slow at putting resources up, so here’s our first service plan for a while – this was from last Sunday, and our theme was the story of Jesus healing blind Bartimaeus. It was a very simple service and although there are quite a lot of words, the children seemed happy to listen and join in with the blindfold walk and the jigsaw jesus activity. The picture below shows the jigsaw assembled – the image is a byzantine icon of Christ. Well, obviously not an actual byzantine icon – Iain scanned it from a book! We opened with a beautiful poem called With You which you can find on the Visions website

handy to be able to read these prayers again, cheers.
