OK, b4 i proceed, u guyz must b thinkin'...'Paramore?Aren't they, like, sooooo a few years ago?' Hey, I'll insist on making a review of this band, cuz...

GOSH!!! I really, really lurve this band.. Why? Coz they got attitudes, man! They really speak my mind, (in fact, most ppl's minds too!) rather than sugar-coating issues, which i really despise, in most 'sweet' songs..The first time I watched the vid 'Misery Business' by them (a single from their album 'Riot'), I was like, 'cool...uber-cool..' that vid, the gurl's vocal (Hayley Williams a.k.a vocalist), n the song...truly ROCK! Now, Paramore is actually deemed as a pop/punk act, but...I think I wanna call them a rock star! ;p

I think this band made Avril Lavigne looks like a pop star like Hannah Montana and Britney Spears (of course, the once sweet, bubblegom-popping Britney)..seriously...heheh! Initially, I thought Hayley's hair was quite 1980's for my liking (erm, fashion sense from the 80's really r the last thing on my fashion list), but in every vid clips, she varies her hairstyle, but the hues r pretty rockin' as ever, a trademark fiery hair.. nice.. ;)

Then, songs after songs from Paramore had captured my heart...n i'm still not tired of listening to their songs over n over again (well done, Paramore!) ..songs like 'Fences', 'Lovesick Melody', 'Pressure'.. juz light up my day n adrenaline-pumping! They're so full of energy, they're so fresh!...When I'm very very pissed off with sum1, Paramore's songs r a real stress-reliever 4 me.... ;)

N now, radios r like, 4ever, playing their latest hit, 'That's What You Get'....1st time i heard it, i thought it was juz..okay..but then, after hving to listen to the song most of the time when the radios r constantly playing it, i cud say dat,it's quite "too nice" n "positive" than what i hv expected from Paramore, but hey...everyone's lovin' it! Yup,the Malaysian audience r lovin' it.. ;) Whereas, I prefer the more head-bangin' sounds..heheh! Nothing beats a rock/punk music more than a lot of vocal expressions, attitudes n a sharp voice like Ms Hayley Williams (wish I could also sing like her! ;p) I saw a comment from youtube, on the motivational 'That's What U get' song, n the person said that her teacher even asked her whole class to sing this song as part of their curriculum-xtvt sorta thing...like, how cool is dat? ;)


Yup, I wish they will continue to be the next big thing in the rock/punk music scene..Now I'm diggin' into 'Decode', their sountrack from the movie 'Twilight'...comin' in cinemas on 27 Nov... ;)

10 Toes Outside....

Those are the words of my former Head of Programme,fondly known as "Dr D" (well, i sorta rearranged her exact words la kn~ ;p) which were always reminded to us from time to time... the 'toe' analogy is used to symbolize our readiness to step into a world of unexpectedness and a lot of responsibilities...

Which brings us to our topic today, 'Hey, I visited my office-to-be today!'..hehe` ;p

So i met with the GM of the company...it's a kinda multimedia-interactive-based company, which deals with most multimedia thingy n broadcasting too..(among my favourite stuff! ;p) ~Hello, I'm Sarah, reporting from Putrajaya...haha~

Mr GM was very warm, n shall i say, cool, in the now...not so like those suit-wearing strict bosses who never heard of the word 'smile'...hehe~(he's also quite good-looking 4 a man his age ;p) the workplace ambience also was very friendly, cosy and such.. i was actually beginning to visualize me running here n there in the office, discussing probs with my colleagues, holding files, walking very fast-paced-ly..loookin' very busy...hehe~ (i dunno, but I've always fantasized that kind of working environ.. ;p i like it, actually..i was also a fan of 'The Apprentice'..hey2..~

I cud say that, our brief meeting today was quite...friendly, n info-gaining 4 me...but I felt I kinda hesitated n talked very softly in front of him (mule2 tu)...but then, all of a sudden, I was talking non-stop! hahaha~

But then, I reassured myself that, 'hey, all newbies will hv butterflies flying around happily in their 'comel' tummies, so y bother? juz give the company ur best shot n show 'em what u got with the assignment they gave u today'..

Hey2, I even got my 1st project 4 my industrial training.. (erm, 'industrial training' is too long, i'll juz refer it as IL or internship 4 my later posts, ok? ;) or prac, hmm, i still luv the word 'prac'.....n it's due on the 1st official day of my internship, which is on Jan 2.. that will be abt more than a month to come, but...I can't wait to start! ;)

My Journey tO Adulthood..~

hmmm.. it's been 5 days in my home... (feels like a long time!) well, i'm having so much fun at home..it's been months since i'm away frm home... ;)

n i'm gonna use my time here well...time is precious...time is short...b4 my industrial training... (it's called that now, not PRACTICAL training anymore.. ) heh...~

yep...n rite now i feel like, i'm not ready to step into the big world where everyone is mean to each other (bzns world, hello?)...backstabbing's evrywhere, n the 'lembik' ones will get stepped on....
well, at least that's what I think...

no...the world can't b that bad.. ;) sumtimes i'm hving too much of a hard time thinking bad abt other ppl...well, u c, it's frm my experience..my past experiences with sum...difficult..ppl?

but, i still hv sum good gurl frenz tho'.... ;)

nahh, i don h8 evrybody..i'll juz quickly retaliate when ppl r not being nice to me... n i'm easily provocated....so watch out,...heheh~

hmm, n..i gotta learn more abt the world's current issue..ok, harga minyak dah trn...yoga dh dihrmkan oleh mufti2 perak..rafidah vs shahrizat? does that count? heheh... ;)

well, i must say, that what i learned during my last semester's courses surely HAD helped me getting to know the, the heavy stuff' in this world - u know, politics, govt intervention, economics...n they're not boring! yay...i've finally grown up! ;)

okay...that's all 4 2nite...so lenguh already..
