Baby boy #2

ImageAs many of you already know.. On December 15th we found out we were having our Baby Boy #2!
In my mind I really thought it was going to be another girl. I dont know if that was because I was secretly wanting to play dress up or if it was Paige wanting a Baby sister more than anything that made me think that...because it definately was NOT intuition :) haha
So when the nurse said it was DEFINATELY a boy I was a little shocked...
and it took me a little bit (as well as Paige) to wrap our minds around having another crazy little man running around our house :)
Now that things have settled and Christmas is over and I have time to sit and go through pictures...so when this picture of the ultrasound came up on my screen I immediately felt like I couldnt wait for him to come into our home.
I am FINALLY feeling his little kicks every once in a while that remind me that I am still pregnant. I love it!
4 months left to go...125 days to be exact....
Im definately going to be given a run for my money with 2 of these boys running around my house!!!
But I cant wait.

Thank you CBS!

Thanks to Craigs FABULOUS skills on the Price is Right 6 months ago....
we were able to take THIS vacation last week!!
It was definately the vacation of a lifetime.
Christmas decorations and we even got snow one night....definately put us in the Christmas spirit.
NEW YORK is an amazing city full of history and AWSOME Food!! :)
Here are just a few things we did and saw....
Image
Heading out to Liberty Island.....

Image
Rockefeller Plaza.
This place was a MADHOUSE - but that goes with being in this city.

Image Do we look FREEZING?! It was SOOOOOOOOOO cold.....
The poor babies and kids that live there have to be wrapped in these crazy papoose stroller blanket things with only thier eyes showing :)

Image

Our 1st night out to River Cafe.
Most amazing dinner....people waiting on us hand and foot....TINY food.....Amazing view....Lots of laughing at how "proper" we needed to be acting....and Craig NOT allowing me to take pictures of our food because he said I was being "tacky"...ok maybe? :) but it was cute cute food.

Image Central Park in the FREEZING SLUSHY rain!!
Its still awsome.
Image
Ok so i was sick of standing and smiling for pictures :)

ImagePlaying with the 5 year olds on the BIG piano in FAO Schwarz. I tried to playchop sticks but people started staring and I crumbled under pressure.
Only costs the same as a small condo....free shipping tho! :) haha
Howd you like this under your christmas tree.....

Image
SOOOOO glad craig won us this trip!
It was so fun to have 5 days together without distractions of kids and being selfish and doing whatever we wanted.... :)
Not sure when we will get to go back there but im already CRAVING the Frozen hot chocolate and NY pizza cuz YES it really is THAT much better!!!! YUMMMMMMMMM.

Our artist.

Paige has been going to a preschool on the campus of an elementary school this year.
The school had a contest to enter some form of art that represented
"beautiful is....."
Paige painted this picture and wanted to enter it in the contest.
She painted it all on her own with NO help!
I wanted to frame it right then :)
Image We got a call from the school last week saying that she won 1st place in the whole school!
Im not quite sure how those 5th graders are going to feel when they find out a preschooler won the whole thing.
SO proud of you Paigie girl!

Masons 2nd birthday party-family style.

We had a small family party this year to celebrate Masons #2.
Lots of colorful balloons made Masons day.
Nothing really entertains him more :)

Daddy got in on the train action too.....he may need his own set of tracks :)
Image My sis Lindseys amazing cake once again!
(dont judge her on the smudged name...it happened getting it out of the box)

Image
Fun game of pin the tail on the donkey.
I think I had this same donkey poster at my own party when I was 5!!!
The treasures you find at the dollar store :)
The girls thought this game was HALARIOUS!!! $1 went a long way with them.

Image HAPPY singing time!!!!
Over and over and over and over again.

Image
Nothing better for this sugar junkie.

Fun evening celebrating this FUN little boy!
His birthday isnt actually until next tuesday so dont think my birthday posts for him are over just yet...haha.
We have stretched this one out :)

Day out with Thomas....Masons Bday continues.

Our little Mason boy turning 2 has been a lot of fun!
Hes pretty obsessed with Trains and horses right now so we settled on a Thomas the Train birthday theme.
I heard that "A day out with Thomas" was in town the day before his Thomas party so we sent him out for a boyz day with Ampa and Dadda. Its also "ampas" birthday 3 days before Masons so they had a birthday day out together.
He was SOOOOOOOOO excited to have a shirt with a choo choo on it.

Here are the boys waiting for the train ride.

He is SO tiny compared to this train!!! :)

Image Hanging out with daddy....

Image There were train tables all set up for the kids to play with. You had to 'fight' your way in...and Mason got right in there to play for a little bit.
The second they were in the car he passed out.
He LOVED it!!
So much fun to have a boy and do things other than "princesses" for a change :)

Pretend city....

Last Friday Amber got a group of us discounted tickets to Pretend City in Irvine and it was well worth the money! Pretend grocery stores, firestation, gas station, houses, restraunts, beaches, farms, a theater stage. It was too cute! and smelled like bleach which I appreciated :)
The kids played in this little city for 4 hours and could have lasted a lot longer.
Mason was obsessed with the water area.
Playing with the "butts/boats" and dead looking fish :)
Image Then we moved onto the art room. Where he found the paint. oh boy! :)
Glad it was not at my house haha. he covered the paper and his hands and the table with paint and then we turned around washed off and left the clean up to the art room workers.
Love it.
Image

Image We ended up back at the water where he would put in the boat in, let it float down the waterfall...scream with happiness and YELL....'gin!' (again) for about 20 minutes.
Note to self: Put waterfall in house with plastic boat. (& dead looking fish)
Image
AGAIN AGAIN!

Image
The girls played on these 'crotches' (crutches) as paige called them...a LOT!

Image

Image
Mason had a love hate relationship with these cute baby chicks.
Tanya was watching him and apparently he went up to the glass and smooshed his face on it to see in...the chickens started pecking at his face on the glass....he backs up scared and then goes up closer to the glass and GROWLS as loud as he can at them!
Image
Apple picking at the farm. There were strawberry bushes, orange trees, lettuce, and a dirt place to plant some things. Wish i took more pictures of all the cute things.

Image
Bringing out our Thai food orders...fun restaurant.
Big tips for these cute ladies.
Image Playing in the moon sand at the beach.
Image

My favorite part is that the kids can get time cards and "work" in the city. Paige and Taylor went around to each area and the employees have them do a "job" like restocking in each place to get a stamp. Once they have stamps from all areas they take thier card to the ATM and it shoots money out at them. Totally like in real life :)

Fun day! THANKS AMBER.

The Thriller.

By popular demand here is Paige's version of
THE THRILLER.....in jammies.

Fun Boy!

Here is the 1st of many birthday celebrations this month for our Mason boy. We got together for an early Thanksgiving dinner (1st of 2.) and I knew he would LOVE to be sung to...so here's what happened.

Halloween weekend

Halloween was once again tons of fun.
We had some costume issues with our little man....he apparently doesnt like to dress up unless its his sisters clothes and shoes :)
He was originally supposed to be a pirate since he already has a pirate hat.
He wouldnt put ANY of the pirate clothes on. So we nixed that idea.
Tried superman. NOPE.
Friday before halloween we tried Thomas the train. SOLD OUT.
Tried another pirate costume. NOPE.
Walking out of Party City he spots this red furry monster of a costume in the birthday section and stops. WHAT?! you want to wear elmo?! are you kidding me? :)
once we were home it took MANY bribes for suckers to get him in it. & smiling. It worked. kinda.
Image Paige has wanted to be a peacock for months. I was left trying to figure out how to pull that off cheaply :)
Who knew how expensive peacock feathers were ...
I think it turned out pretty cute! and she loved it.....
Image

Image

Image At trunk or treat.
Paige and Taylor went off on thier own this year so I dont have many pictures of her during any of our parties.
Image

Image Mason and Ashlyn share the same LOVE for sugar.
They were found at ALL points of the weekend looking like this stuffed with suckers! :)

Image Love me some Mullets! :)
Image Mason running in his favorite Halloween costume.
Nothing on but a diaper.
Image
Craig relived his high school glory days in his football jersey white trash style...as he does very well .
I tried to put on his lettermans jacket but the 18 pounds of dust from 20 years ago were more than Sudafed could block so I was over it :)
Image almost all the kids at the Jorgenson Halloween party-so much fun!

Image Off trick or treating through the neighborhood....paige was way ahead of us with the older kids collecting as fast as they could so we brought up the end.
Mason finally got a sucker about the 6th house in and gave me the bucket and said DONE and wanted the sucker opened and we walked home :)
Image
My happy ELMO sucker face.
Image The next morning we checked out all the loot the kids got....way too much! :)
I took out the "good stuff" and stashed it away for a rainy day. (or crazy afternoon whatever comes first)
Mason sat with a sucker in each hand and enjoyed his Sunday morning.
Image
ImageThe end.
