Why are there 31 days in January? Seriously. Isn't that stupid month long enough?? January for us this year was suuuuuuuuuuuuuper long. Why? Because the schools here basically close down for an entire week any time snow even threatens. It's just hard on us all. I don't get to the gym, which makes me cranky. Eva doesn't get to go to preschool, which makes her cranky. We still have to pay for preschool, which makes Devin cranky. And then Eva and Soph just fight all day... it's a bad situation all around. And when we finally do have a nice day, there is a holiday, a teacher prep day or Eva gets sick. Eva probably went to school nine times in January. Bad, bad, bad. Anyway, one day we were stuck inside and I decided to whip out the old tripod and play around with some pics. I'm rarely in front of the camera and frankly wanted some memories of my sweet moments with my little babies. Eva was much more interested in working the camera than posing this time around. It took a fair bit of wrestling to get Soph in these as you can probably tell. The pics at the table are of Eva and her friends drawing and goofing around. They loved all the snow days and spent tons of time together. My sanity.

I asked Sophie today how old she was and she said, "I'm sixteen, I fink."
I overheard Eva and Sophie talking about who was the most important person in the family. Eva instructed her that mom was the most important person in the family. Followed by dad, then Eva, then Sophie. Sophie just accepted it as gospel truth. haha. I love listening to their funny little conversations.
Eva made a heart for preschool that said, "Love is: when my little sister copies me."
