Paris

Our final stop. Paris. We were tired by now but determined to see Paris and enjoy our time there. It was pouring the night we got there but we wanted to go on a river cruise to see the Eiffel Tower light up at night. We had to rally hard but we got there and enjoyed it in the rain. It really was beautiful.

The next morning, we got up and had breakfast then headed to Notre Dame and were tourists the rest of the day. We ended up taking a pedi-cab for a tour of the city. It was a great way to do it instead of the hop on hop off bus. We loved it and he gave us a great tour.

Of course we had crepes

It really was such a fun trip and I'm so glad I was able to do it before little one is born. I know it will be a long time until I have such an opportunity to travel again. Thanks for following along my trip. :)

Day 6- Loumarin and Bonnieux

Loumarin was our favorite town to visit of the week. Mary, who led our trip, said it would be but couldn't really explain why. We got it once we arrived. It's beautiful and quaint and fun. The town is small but so welcoming. We loved the stores as much as the market. Great town to end on.

This is my purchase from the week. A bird cage chandelier for either the nursery or a reading nook. I love it.

Castle in Lumarin. Not too many pictures here because we shopped til we dropped. :)

Next we had lunch is Bonnieux on our way back to home base in Goult.

Then we headed home to pack up and get organized for Paris. Such a fun and beautiful trip in Provence. We had a lady who cooked for us at our Chateau in Goult. I don't have any pictures of it was it was gorgeous as well. I loved that we went back to the house to eat most of our dinners because I was usually exhausted by the time we made it back. We ate great food the whole trip. It was nice to eat with zero guilt too since I'm pregnant. There was always talk about dieting when we get home. Not for me!

Day 5- Cassis

We traveled south to the Mediterranean Sea on day 5. It was about a 2 hour drive from where we were staying to Provence. Again what an adorable town. Barbie got sick of the Texas girls saying precious all the time, so I will use it here. :) The town was precious. We took a boat out on the water and saw the areas and the coastline. Beautiful.

Mom laughs hysterically when she sees this picture so I had to include it

The girls shopped in the afternoon but I decided to just walk around and take in the sights. Plus my pregnant belly was a little uncomfortable from all the sitting, so I got a little exercise in too. I love this picture I took.
Image

We asked for decaf espresso but I can assure you this was not decaf. These ladies talked nonstop for the next 2 hours of our boat ride. :) About half way through, Barbie said, "Jeez, I don't think they gave me decaf." True story.

Day 4- St Remey and Assylum where Van Gogh Stayed

St Remey is the most posh village we visited on the trip. Mom got this cute bag at the market. The lady who owned the store makes all the purses out of vintage fabrics and lace. So cool.

Isn't she cute modeling her bag?

She also got a beautiful watercolor.

Famous chocolate store I forgot the name of. It was good...trust me.

I'm not a huge shopper, so I brought my Nook so I didn't get bored when I was finished shopping
