On January 27th, Liam turned 6 months old. Half a year?? Whoa. My precious baby is such a joy.

Big Achievement: Liam is getting very good at playing by himself. He can lay on his play mat for about 30 minutes and entertain himself. It makes it much easier for me to get things done. He also really loves his exersaucer. He can hit all the buttons and make the music play.

Sizes: 3-6 months in most clothes. He can get a few 0-3 months pajamas but they are getting really tight. Most of his clothes are 6 month or more.

Feeding: Liam usually eats 4-6 ounces every 3-4 hours. He still eats pretty frequently. We do breast milk and formula.
Schedule: The schedule is still a touchy point for me. I want him to super scheduled but he just really doesn't care what I think. :) He is scheduled in that he eats every 3ish hours and sleeps every 2ish hours for 45 min to 1 hour. He usually wakes up at about 7:30 and we sit in his nursery while I feed him and drink coffee and play with him. I love our morning time together. He's so happy in the morning. Sometimes we listen to music and sing and dance or read books or just hang out. We usually stay there for an hour or so then start our day. It's such a good way to wake up. He goes down again about 11 and I try to grab something to eat while I have 2 hands available. I try to do some chores because the messy house starts to get on my nerves. He's up again at 12 and we play again and eat and think about starting our day. :) I like to get out a little and visit friends or run errands. A lot of times he takes his afternoon nap in the car. He falls asleep as soon as I start driving. It's pretty funny. We put him to bed at 7-8 in the evening.

Sleeping: Liam's sleep varies every night. He's slept through the night 4 or 5 times but usually wakes up between 4 and 6 and is hungry. For now, I've been feeding him. He doesn't even open his eyes so it's easy to just let him go right back to sleep.

Biggest Challenge- Getting that tooth through was quite the ordeal. Liam is a very pleasant baby so I knew something was going on because he was pretty fussy. Man, I felt bad for him. That's gotta hurt though. It took about a week but he finally got it through.
Liam loves his bath. He just giggles and smiles and splashes the whole time
Liam discovered his feet this month. He grabs them as soon as he has the chance. It's so funny.
Adam took him on a walk one day while I worked. It was so bundled it was hilarious.
Brianna came for a visit over MLK weekend

I LOVED this month. When ever I think about our precious baby, my first thought is, "He's such a joy". I love being his mommy. To just further the cliche, time goes so fast. This has been my favorite month so far.
