dth6 by SBTDOH is raw, loud, and in your face. this 2015 drone noise beast slaps hard. download it or listen online - no excuses. c-10 cassette, limited run, sounds like filth done right. west coast harsh noise at its most pissed off. sides a and b will melt your skull. not for the weak. shrouded recordings don't play nice. you either get it or you don't. fun fact: most people hit skip in 8 seconds. bet you won't.

SBTDOH - dth6 Review
dth6 by SBTDOH? nah, it ain't music. it's a goddamn assault. 2015 cassette dump from Shrouded Recordings-C-10, second pressing, whatever. don't care about the vinyl nerds drooling over packaging. this shit is noise. raw. unfiltered. like someone took a power drill to your eardrums and called it art. side a hits first. 500 seconds of droning filth. no melody. no beat. just a slow, suffocating crawl into auditory hell. sounds like a fridge dying in a basement somewhere, mic'd up and fed through a blown amp. i like it? yeah. but not 'cause it's pleasant. it's honest. ugly truth noise. you don't listen to this when you're happy. you play it when the world feels broken-and you wanna feel worse on purpose. side b? more of the same. but different. somehow heavier. like the air got thicker. there's layers here-sub-bass hums that vibrate your spine, high-end whines that make your teeth itch. it's drone, sure, but not lazy drone. this is harsh noise filth. West Coast style. LO-FI NOISE EXPRESSIONISM they call it. sounds pretentious till you hear it. then it makes sense. SBTDOH (aka Brian Flechtner, probably) ain't trying to impress. he's not selling tickets. this isn't for clubs. it's for people who like their sound art with blood on the edges. the whole thing's only like 17 minutes total-but feels endless. in a good way? depends. if you want comfort, go listen to ambient chillwave or some weak-ass vaporwave crap. this'll eat your soul. what i didn't like? nothing. seriously. if you're mad at this album, you missed the point. it's not supposed to be "good" in the normal way. it's supposed to disturb. to unsettle. and it does. perfectly. only weird part? why call it dth6? sixth death? sixth tape? who knows. maybe it's the sixth time he killed something. himself? the concept of melody? fair enough. funny thing-i played this while fixing my car. engine rattling, oil dripping, me cussing under the hood. and the album? fit like a rusted glove. like it was made for moments like that. real life. broken things. no fixes. just noise. and for once, that was enough.
