We're MOVING! ahem - we've moved...
...to a new website that is.
I know everyone (about 4 or 5 consistent readers) thinks I've been out of the blogosphere for no good reason and demands an update. Well here's the update. I have been contemplating a new place to record this family journal to not only make it more accessible (without the hassle of passwords), but also to find more space so I wouldn't have to delete my old posts one by one. Also note, this site has the option to make private only certain posts rather than the entire site. If you come across a private post, e-mail me for the password and I will send it to you! The password will most likely change with each post, so keep that in mind.
Et voila!
I have found a place that is suitable. I've been doing all the legwork of uploading posts, pictures, and learning the new system which has more options than blogger, but isn't as simple (because there are so many options).
Lyle has seen me mess with the website on more than one occasion where he says, "just launch the thing". I just couldn't until I felt I had the right layout and options. I'm still not super thrilled with the look, but it's simple enough to not annoy me at this moment. More updates will come.
In fact, on our new site, I will be posting a new post each day! They are of course dated back to October, but you'll be able to see how our Fall to Winter has been with each day rather than in real time.
Who's ready for the super impressive and intelligent site name?
We really knocked your socks off with our creativity right?! I knew we would. See you there!

fresh harvest
Lyle worked all day Saturday (can't wait until I can say that Monday-Friday someday), so I was left to myself doing the normal Saturday things: gym, breakfast, dvr recording of Grey's, cleaning the apartment, grocery shopping. Then, after a quick shower, I hurried out the door to get some farmers market shopping and desiring in before it was time to meet Lyle for an early dinner/late lunch. I rarely get to see the farmers market, even though it's in Union Square (only a few blocks south of where I work). I wish it was closer to my apartment because I would be there as much as my wallet allotted buying fresh produce, breads, and grass fed meats!
Oh, and here's our version of the pumpkin patch! There are a few more places that City has to offer, but I have yet to venture out to them. They're mainly in the country (which we'll probably miss AGAIN) this year. Only one more year to make this right. I'm bound and determined to make next year a priority for apple picking and pumpkin patches!
