Potty Time!!

Well a couple of days ago we started the potty training process. Which has gone very well!! Boston has pooped and peed on the potty everytime she has had to go. We have only been putting a diaper on at night and changing into her big girl panties in the morning. She has even been going by herself today! I am so proud of her and think this will be it now! She took her first car ride downtown in big girl underwear and we stopped and got ice cream. My little baby is officially a big girl!

                      By the way that is chocolate ice cream on her face! Ha!

RIP bunny rabbit

Well, one of our wild bunnies was killed last night. Chris and Boston and I were sitting in the living room and heard the worst screeching noise and we went outside. Well Chris saw Lucy our dog attacking this baby bunny next to our house. It was horrible, it died in Chris's hands and of course I started bawling. I felt so bad for Lucy too. I mean dogs dont know any better and it was so little anyways she probably thought it was a toy. I dont think it was the one that is in the bushes out front though because it looked smaller. It was sad and Lucy ran inside and hid for awhile. We havent talked about it again because its just nature but I wish I hadnt have heard or seen it! We love  you bunny and hope your brothers and sisters thrive and survive in our yard.
   On a lighter note: My Pioneer Woman Cajun Chicken Pasta was AWESOME! Everyone went back for seconds and we have about this much left over...

Needless to say it will be made again very soon. I also got up and made some blueberry muffins this morning because we were all having a hard time eating breakfast these days!

Boston and I have had a good day today even though it is STILL raining and I am trying to find stuff for her to do! She colored in some shapes earlier and I am very proud of how well she colors in the lines! I cant even do that well sometimes. We also played baby  dolls alot today and the big hit lately has been hide and seek. Except she doesnt hardly give her old mom much time to hide I usually end up hiding under a blanket or behind a door! ha! Well not much has gone on.. which in my book is pretty nice!

Rain, Rain, Go Away!

Well good thing we are on "higher" ground here. Parts of town are flooded we have gotten soo much rain! Chris came home at lunch and got my car because his droptop is having a leaking issue. Good Lord he will drive that thing until it just quits (which is one less car payment!). Boston and I have had our first day together in a few days. I went to Arkansas and enjoyed a weekend alone. It was much needed for me and for her. She is getting so smart and staying so busy these days I need a break every now and again! Chris and her stayed here but unfortunately it rained so they didnt get to go see any fireworks. I know she had a blast with her daddy though! Here are a few pictures of us literally laying around the  house! Sorry short post but I plan to post more from now on.. and I am attempting a Pioneer Woman recipe tonight; Cajun Chicken Pasta! I am excited and Chris is going to get the stuff for me on his way home from work! Yay! I hope he gets there without floating!

The BIG move!

Well we are FINALLY in our new house! I love it, it has been so peaceful and qiuet and relaxing. Let me just say we went from a very small "row" house, very close to neighbors and a house that needed quite a few updates! I am so proud of my hubby  for working soooooo hard to get us this nice home to call our own. I have misplaced my camera for the time being here are some phone pics( and yes they are horrible) I plan on taking Boston to the Splash pad today so I can get some better ones there. Dont look at any of the messes because hey, we just moved in... Actually we got Boston a slew of new toys because we had a merchanside credit through Babies R Us and she thinks they ALL need to be in the living room. We hadnt really bought her anything in awhile and I could tell she was getting kind of bored with some of her toys so we rearranged them, I put some up and we got her some toys shes been asking for (yes, my child asks for certain things.. o my) I think thats probably the hardest thing about being at home is finding new ways to keep your older things exciting! Boston has that one track mind she inherited from me and its hard to keep it occupied!  I also got a picture of her sleeping her big girl bed. She is across the house from us but has done awesome staying in it at night.

A little bit of Love goes a LONG way!

Over the past few weeks we have had to deal with some really hard and sad stuff. And personally angering stuff as well. Boston has felt it too and we have just been so ready to move and get it over with. Not to mention having a toddler who is going through her "twos" and "trying times" it has been hard not to just want to crawl in a hole for a day or two. But yesterday we had a good day and Boston told me she loved me and it made me all better. She even fell asleep on me while I was holding her  and talking on the phone. I didn't put her down right away I just sat there and held her like I did when she was little. It was so therapeutic and wonderful. I know everything will work out the way God wants it to and will take care of us no matter what! I am so glad I serve a God like that! Tomorrow we are heading to Arkansas to see my cousin Anna graduate and Chris's birthday is Saturday. He will be 32 so I think he needs a party! My mom is having our family over for cake and dinner and I know its just what he needs for a break of enjoyment! Its been AWHILE for him.

Today we went over to the new house to take some measurements and look at some small repairs they had to do. Boston loved her new bathroom and room and she spent most of her time rolling in the living room! I got some pics of different rooms and sorry our camera is so bad it didnt do well, but  I will try to post some. Oh and we get to close on May 25th now. Boston and I will be in Arkansas on the 19th through the 23rd so I wont have to do much when we get back but move in! CANT WAIT!

A Fun/Busy Day!

Boston and I had a fun day today. This morning we went to my friend Christinas house and played and ate sushi. All of us that LOVE sushi in Bartlesville have to wait unti Fridays when they have it at a local health store/cafe. Isnt that soo sad! We are definately in the middle of steak country! Well the kids played with the rabbit, in the playhouse and just ran, ran and ran some more! After we got done there we went to see Chris at his office. Things were pretty quiet up there on a Friday afternoon so she got to see and do lots. She got to play stickers with dad, sit in his chair and hold my Dr pepper( she was listening to it fizz and just thought it was the coolest thing!) She sure does love her daddy and I am pretty fond of him too! Tonight we have to get garage sale stuff ready ugh! It will be a wreck in here until tomorrow afternoon when its over. Chris and I are going to a wedding tomorrow night so I will try to get a couples shot of us.. its been WAAAY to long since we have had on nice clothes and had someone take our picture! p.s. I want a new camera for Christmas BAD! ( so drop the hint to "santa" anyone!)
