Another Meet Me Monday!

I'm so excited to be blogging this morning. Last week, (and the past few weeks) I've been linking up with The Teaching Tribune for their Summer Linky Series. This has been a great way to stay on top of my blogging and get more traffic through my little blog!  But the icing on the cake...I won their giveaway last week! Super exciting.

So of course I'm linking up again this week for Monday Meet Up.
Image
This week we were tasked with blogging to share three things we are thankful for in our life.  We were allowed to pick anything, it did not need to be teaching related.  So here are my three things I'm thankful for...
Image
Here's my little additional info for each!

1. I am absolutely blessed with the AMAZING people in my life! I am so thankful for my small group of close knit family and friends who are always there when you need them. They help make life so much more fun!

2. I know it sounds cliche, but I truly do love my job.  I am thankful to have a job to wake up to (on work days!) that is not something I mind doing. I'm pretty sure everyone would like to be able to sleep in...that's not my point here.  My point is, I work in a great place with great/supportive people.  That makes going to work so much better!

3. Last, but not least...I am so thankful for my family's good health.  Over the past five years, we've had several bouts of cancer mixed with a side of emergency surgery and hospital stays.  It's so wonderful to be moving forward from these health issues and still be blessed with all my loved ones!

Happy Monday ya'll!  Comeback tomorrow to see what I have for 50% off during Two for Tuesday!

This item will be great for recognizing colors and color words.  There's so much going on here...a mini book for colors, a mini book for color words, coloring sorting center, and worksheets for each color/color word!

The second item on sale for 50% off is my Interview Packet.  I used this at the end of the year with my Kinders and they absolutely loved being able to create a book about their friend!
Image
This activity is differentiated to accommodate writers who need a little assistance with cloze sentences and writers who can create their own sentences alike.

I hope you find these items as helpful as I have! Happy Half-Off Shopping!

That's right y'all. I have marked two items in my store down to half the cost.  Two awesome products for 50% off and I'm not the only blogger! Here's what I'm offering for 50% off!

These worksheets are leveled to use with all of your students at their learning level.  I used these this past school year with my students in math centers.  Each of my groups had a different level of worksheet we were working on to practice counting Base Ten Blocks!

Image
This activity is very versatile.  You can use it as an independent assessment, a small group center, or a full group game.  This item will help your students to practice counting to twenty using ten frames.

Meet Me Monday...Round Two!

It's Monday and I'm linking up with The Teaching Tribune again this week.
Image

Today, the task set forth for the linky was to write a letter to yourself when you started this blogging journey.  For me, it's been just over a year that I've been writing my blog.  It's been way longer than that that I've been reading/stalking and loving other people's blogs.  Here's the letter I would write to myself at the beginning of this journey.
Image

Hope everyone is having a Marvelous Monday. Don't forget to head over and see what other bloggers wrote to their beginning blogger selves!

Worksheet Wednesday...

Once again, I am linking up with the Teaching Tribune.  How awesome has this week been so far?  Worksheet Wednesday means you can get yourself some free worksheets.
Image
This week is supposed to be a one page math worksheet...but mine is actually two pages!  The pages I am giving you are actually from my Count, Color,Graph: Independent Work.

I have loved using this item with my kindergartners this year.  They truly were able to complete this independently!  To get this item, you will need to download the preview of the paid product (by clicking one of the pictures above)...I promise it's there! I hope you enjoy and keep coming back this week to see what else this awesome linky has going on.

Two for Tuesday!

I'm linking up (again) with The Teaching Tribune. Today, they are hosting a Two for Tuesday Linky.
Image
This means that two of my items have been marked 50% off in my TpT Store.  Check out what I marked down below, and then head over to see what other bloggers have marked down.
Image
With this item, your students will be able to observe all of the states of matter while making jello!  They will make a prediction, complete observational notes, and answer questions about what they observed and learned through the experience of making jello.  I used this with first and second grade students.

Image
This item will allow your students to recognize the difference between stories written to give information and stories written to tell a story.  You will need the book, "A Taste of Honey," by Nancy Elizabeth Wallace to use this product!  When using this product, your students will need to select what they think was the author's purpose and give an explanation!  I used this while teaching first and second grade students.

Be sure to pop back in tomorrow for a free math worksheet!

Currently...yay, June!

It is (near) the beginning of another month.  And y'all know what that means...time for Currently! I'm linking up for the Currently June with Farley over at Oh Boy 4th Grade!

So here it is!
Image
Listening: my absolute favorite song (or one of) at the moment.  You should definitely check it out!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3DWtBngIGVE
Loving: The weather went from frigid to HOT and HUMID.  Today cooled off a little and the humidity broke.  It was a wonderful weather day!
Thinking: I am ready for the end of the year...almost.  I still have things to do.  But I feel like things are piling up and I'm just ready for the pile up to be done and over! But I am far from prepared...still have lots of prep to do!
Wanting: Macaroni and Cheese pizza...which probably makes you think, WHAT?!?!  But I'm here to tell you, there is this little pizza place by me that takes two of my favorite foods and combines them to make an amazing dish.  All credit goes to the boyfriend for introducing me to said pizza place :)
Needing: report cards to be finished...enough said!
Bucket List: I actually have quite the list going...
1. I need to get a more regular gym schedule going (says the girl planning to indulge in macaroni and cheese pizza for dinner!).  But I really keep a much better gym schedule during the summer. It's easier for me to get there, which shouldn't be an excuse during the school year, BUT...
2. I plan to add some (more purposeful) lifting to the gym mix this summer.  I've seen some great pictures that other bloggers have been posting such as Rachelle from What the Teacher Wants and For Blogness' Sake and Katie from Queen of the First Grade Jungle and I'm feeling very motivated!
3. I am keeping my same grade level and classroom next year (first time!) and I have some things that I would like to change and improve in the room...since I get to keep it!
4. Kindergarten has definitely kept me busy this year.  I feel like the summer is the perfect time to catch up with friends (who are also teachers and know what I mean!) and family.  Bring on the barbecues, weddings, and pure summer fun!
5. I can definitely say I will be attending at least one concert this summer. I just bought my tickets for Rascal Flatts! I need to see if there are any other concerts I'd like to talk the boyfriend into for the summer go see this summer!

So that's my Currently...off to post and check out a few other Currentlys.
Happy Tuesday!
