7 years
Can't believe it has been 7 years already. Actually it's the fact that it has been 10 years since we started dating that I really can't believe. They've all been absolutely wonderful.
3 months!
-she is such a smiley baby
-everyone who is around her always describes her as happy and chill
- she sleeps from 9:30 or 10:00pm to 8:30am
- we call her tiny toot, bug, buggy, or bugaboo
- is close to rolling over, but isn't quit there
- loves it if you sing Christmas carols, especially Rudolph the red nose reindeer

2 Months
Cinco de Mayo was Sophie's 2 month mark. Here are some basic facts:
- 11 lbs. 11 oz.
- 23.5 inches long
- sleeps through the night
- has a clogged tear duct in her right eye
- smiles all the time
- has hair that seems to get curlier by the day
- her hair is starting to fall out some
- is a spitter
She is a wonderfully mellow baby that smiles all the time, which means we are constantly smitten.

Dance Moves
This is a video of my 2yr old niece demonstrating what can happen when the only dance move you know is the twirl...
First Flight
Last week we flew to Portland for my little brother's wedding. Sophie took a total of 4 plane rides...2 there 2 back. She did such a good job!! She was all smiles and coos the whole time. She only slept maybe 30 minutes out of both flights combined, but just hung out the rest if the time. I was so relieved.

One Month
Sophie was one month yesterday. Crazy how time flies.
• She still gets up once a night, but has slept all the way through a few times so I'm hoping that will be the new trend
• She is gaining weight quickly
• She is very animated
• She stays awake for long stretches during the day
• She does not pose well for photos

Sophie Quinn Harris
Her birth story is in the previous post, this one is just about her.
Sophie was born at 2:46 PM on March 5...which is actually my Mom's birthday as well. She weighed 8 lbs. 5 oz. and was 20.5 in long. She has lots of dark hair, primarily on the back of her head with an extra thick stripe of hair down the middle of the top of her head. We affectionately refer to it as her mohawk. She has a cleft chin like her Dad and one dimple in her left cheek just like her Mom. When her hair gets wet it goes SUPER curly and she has the prettiest mouth (there is a good photo of her mouth later).
We have taken to calling her Q (Scott is thrilled that it carries an extra James Bond reference) and thingy. She is a very smiley baby and very laid back. She eats well (as evidenced by the fact that she gained a little over 2 lbs. in her first 2 weeks). She only gets up to eat once during the night...something I am SUPER grateful for, and she has her Dad completely smitten. She has a whole range of hysterical facial expressions, which I will feature in a separate post. She loves to wrap her fingers in the hair at the back of her head to fall asleep, and I think it may be creating a bald spot. Now for a whole slew of pictures.
