Trick or Treat evening at school

Our new school has a trick or treat costume night at school. I wasn't planning on decorating a table and passing out candy but I knew they needed more volunteers, so I signed us up. It's nice to be able to jump into the new school and start helping out right away. Best way to meet people and be involved :) 

Since it was super last minute, I dug our Harry Potter stuff out and we just did a Harry Potter table. 

Rey, Cubs player Rizzo, a cupcake (had this costume before Ellie was even born!) and Lily was Hermione (she was that last year). We have lots of costumes since I save them all :)

This Pottery Barn cupcake costume has always been my favorite since seeing it many years ago. I found it at a garage sale while pregnant with Ellie and it's sat in her closet for 3 years waiting for her to wear it :) 

Fall Festival Parade

The girls didn't twirl baton in the Fall Festival Parade since they didn't have their twirling costume in time for that but they were excited to walk in the parade with their school. At this point we have been at the new school only 3 weeks and I'm proud they have settled in so well and are joining activities! 

Gabe was Buzz Lightyear, Lily was Moana and Grace was her favorite from Star Wars, Rey!

Wizard of Oz Crew

 Girl Scouts hosted a Trunk or Treat even and this crew dressed up from Wizard of Oz. This is their 4th year of themed Halloween costumes! So far they like doing a theme costume (but as you all know- they have other Halloween costumes as well) and they always go back and forth on what the next theme will be. 

It was perfect outside for trunk or treating!

I made Gabe's costume, found a lion costume from a garage sale site, had bought the Dorothy costume last year on clearance after Halloween and only bought the Glinda costume :)
