Fall Walks

We are always trying to stay busy and be outside doing something to keep Mia from crying. It's starting to get colder so I know are time is running out.

Happy 19th Birthday Addason!!

I can't believe she is 19 years old.  How does time fly so fast.  Because I've done this already, I know how it turns out.  This will be the last birthday we celebrate with her the way we always have.  Once they come home from their mission, it's soooo different.

Landon did his eagle scout project, well the project its self. He shopped for and made 30 komfort kids and helped clean out the shed where they are stored.  Now he just has the paperwork left and I have this nagging feeling that it will never get done.

We've been trying to get out as much as possible before the weather gets too cold.  Shiloh thought she was so strong cause she was pushing daddy.

Our couch is at the store AGAIN getting fixed so we have all the cushions piled up in the corner.  The kids all want to sit in the corner and it often cause much fighting and screaming.  For a brief moment we had peace though.

Drey was even happy to read cause that meant he got to sit in the corner all by himself.

Middle Teton

For Scott's fall trip this year he and some dudes went and hiked Middle Teton.  He had been trying to get ready for it and was a little nervous about the trip. He doesn't like the unknown and having someone else doing the planning.  He was prepared and expected to not make it to the summit because it is a very grueling hike.  But he did it and rather quickly too!!! He was glad he went and did it but would never do it again.  He said it was way worse than the Grand Canyon.

Ridgeline Homecoming

Avery played in the powder puff game for homecoming.  It totally seems like NOT an Avery kinda of thing.  But she says that it totally is.  Apparently her motto for this year is "Full Send".  So that would explain it then.  She played and even stopped a girl from getting a touch down.

These are Avery's BFFs Aurie and Lexie.

The whole date situation for homecoming has been stressful, every changing, annoying dramatic and and ridiculous at times.  So if you remember right, two guys asked her on the same night.  She chose the one in our ward.  Then the week of homecoming he's mom text me and said that he was grounded and would I please tell Avery that he couldn't go.  I was in shock!!! She had already gotten a dress and was obviously excited about it.  I actually said that to the mom.  I also mentioned that it wasn't Avery's fault that her son was in trouble and she shouldn't get punished too.  I ended up telling Avery and needless to say she was very upset.  Then she found out that a guy she knew also has his date cancel on him.  So he asked her if she would go with him, she said yes.  Then the first guys mom changed her mind and said he could go with her.  I told her she had found another date so it was too late.  Then on Wednesday night, 3 days before the dance, he said he was sick and couldn't go.  Which was a lie, he just didn't have money to go and so didn't want to take her anymore.  Then there was another guy that she heard might ask her.  The day before the dance, this guy asked her to go.

That is who she ended up going with.  To top it all off, she hated her dress when she got it.  Tylee helped redesign it and I sewed it to make it look way cute and she ended up loving it.  Such a stressful week!!

Tylee was painting her nails and Mia kept coming over to her and putting her fingers toward her and jabbering.  She really wanted her nails done.  Tylee couldn't resist.  She got the quick dry polish and painted both the girls toes.  I love painted little girls toes, they are so cute.

We are trying to get into a routine in the mornings.  As soon as Drey leaves, I work out, we do scriptures, worksheets, an art or craft, get ready for the day.  The only problem will be that I start working Tuesday and Thursday next week and that will totally throw my schedule off.

He's back at it again!!  He is cutting the last two trees in the front yard.  I hate these trees because they are so sticky and messy.  At the same time they give our boring house dimension.

Took Tayslie and Trey to the splash pad with us the Saturday afternoon/evening.

She has enough hair to do piggies.  Her head is so odd shaped that they kinda look funny but it's still adorable.

Scott has been so good about getting off work and taking Mia the Monster on a walk so I can get a break from all her screaming.  On their walk they found a kitty to play with.  They both loved it.

Kelli came from Oregon to visit for the first time since she had her baby Ethan.  Carol was going to do a big dinner at her house but has had some back and hip issues so I volunteered my house.  It was fun to have everyone over.  It was also fun cause all the kids were actually home all day.  It did get a little loud and crazy but over all it went well.

I volunteered to drive to a jump performance on Tuesday night because Elizabeth Smart was speaking after.  I failed to realize that we would be driving to Kamas, Utah.  In case you aren't aware, that is 2 hours away!! It was still worth it.  I've wanted to hear her speak for years and I finally got to.  Her theme was that we are all individually unique and important and that our value does not change or diminish when we do bad things or bad things happen to us.  We are still lovable no matter what.  It was sooo good!! The jump show was a totally different story.  They had to perform in the cold wind on a lopsided wet road, in between two food trucks.  They were suppose to be performing while people waited for their food and then ate on the grass.  It was too cold to eat outside so everyone went in and most people were already headed in cause they were doing free hot dogs, chips, cookies and drinks inside.  It was rather lame and I felt bad for the kids.
