Spring Break

Scott couldn't take off work for spring break so I took the kids to Salt Lake for 3 days and we did all the church history stuff. We did the Conference Center tour, the kids couldn't believe how big it was. Yes, Bayler was here but didn't want his picture taken.

Happy Easter

This is one of those post that are really just for scrap-booking sake. I know some of the pics are blurry but I had to put them on cause I love the looks on their little faces.

Bye Junior

We knew it would be a short time he would be part of our family but we were hoping it would be a bit longer. It amazes me that this little guy was only with us for a month. He fit right into the family and we all adored him. I didn't think we would bond so much in such a short time. We are so grateful for the short time that we had with him and the happiness he brought into our family. He went to his future adoptive family and hopefully will have a great life. As for us, we'll be getting back into our crazy soccer routine for the spring and we'll all be getting a lot more sleep now.

Image To help make this sad evening be a positive experience as well, we had a celebration of our family and for Junior's future family. We took the kids to Texas Roadhouse to eat dinner then topped of our evening with this yummy treat. Even though the kids were sad about him leaving they still want to take another foster child, but I'm hoping it won't happen until the fall.

Mommy/Daughter Date

As a mom I feel like my kids always need me and haven't given much thought to that fact that sometimes moms need their kids. Last weekend I met my mom in Salt Lake and we went out to eat and stayed in a hotel. We had the privilege of going to the Spoken Word and listening to the Mormon Tabernacle choir. I don't care what religion or no religion you are, it would be impossible to go listen to the Choir and not be amazed by the talent and the beauty of the music. There was even a special visitor that morning, we were lucky enough to see the Prophet. I wanted my kids to be there and see and hear it all. Anyway, thanks mom for a relaxing weekend.
