This is a blog about early modern period, most of all about European warfare, politics, law and common life. The aim of the blog is to inspire fascination with Renaissance centuries. My promise is that I will never write anything that is too scholarly or dull, so I hope you’ll enjoy reading it.

    I very much enjoyed your blog, Sellswords, Mercenaries and Condottieri. My Rube Goldberg brain asks with an odd, well-caffeinated kind of logic: Why is there an inverse proportion between the size of the print and the importance of the message? Literature. Art. Science.
