HAPPY THANKSGIVING
We had a fun Thanksgiving this year. Thursday we watched the Macy's parade while Derek baked his famous HAM! Everyone that tastes his ham has to have the recipe! He is a great cook! Thursday afternoon we went to Derek's mom's house for dinner then Friday afternoon went to my mom's! The holidays always keep on going with almost all of our family living within 15 miles of each other. We are so thankful for our families they are so good to us and do so much for us. It is so nice to have a day each year just to sit back and reflect on what we are thankful for, I am hoping to remember to be thankful more often sometimes in the rush of life we forget what is most important!

Kimberly is the cutest 3 year old ever! She is always creating things...the most recent crayon dolls! She is our baker and most creative girl! She loves using her imagination to make new things and is always up for a tea party! We love you so much Kimberly we are so lucky to have you in our family! In the picture she dressed herself, I am a proud mommy!

ART WITH HEART
Aubrey had her first performance of the year at the Covey Center in Provo. Art with Heart is a benefit concert for Shriners Hospital and all proceeds go to the hospital. Each year she gets better and it is so fun to watch her excel, she loves dance and especially performing. It was also my mom's birthday so we all went as a family to the performance. Happy Birthday MOM! We had to do crazy hair for the performance so I am posting pictures of her cute hair! :) Great job dancing Aubrey you are so cute!

Our Little Goblins
We had a very fun Halloween even though Aubrey came home from school Thursday and threw up and then threw up again Friday morning, Kimberly is on an antibiotic, and we are giving Carson breathing treatments. Besides those minor things we had a blast! We carved pumpkins on Monday October 27, the girls loved it! Aubrey did her pumpkin all by herself! I also made caramel apples and pumpkin pie that day. Wednesday was the church party and Derek took the girls, they had fun. So Halloween was low key, but the kids still wore their costumes. We had dinner with all of the grandparents, they came over to see them dressed up. Trevor and Chanda also came over to see them on the way to a Halloween party! They looked so cute Chanda was Eve and Trevor the forbidden fruit! :) The girls did end up getting to go out Trick-or-Treating about 9 houses in our neighborhood...we still have the traditional Halloween in our neighborhood!! :) Well, this was the fastest Halloween ever! I woke up this morning and couldn't believe it was over.

FALL TIME
We had a great time driving the Alpine loop one Sunday after church! Fall is my favorite time of year and we went on the perfect day! The Sunday before conference! Not too busy and before the first big storm of the year! Well I haven't blogged for over a month! Our daily routine keeps us pretty busy! We get up and rush to get Aubrey off to school then we try to clean the house and get ready for the day before it is time to pick her up and take her to dance! And let me add that Carson is not a good Napper! He only take 20 minutes usually and only once while Aubrey is away so getting things done can be crazy! Well we did go up to Snowbird for a couple of days, Derek had some work meetings up there so his work offered to let us come up for a couple of nights! HE has the best job! I took the girls to Gardener Village one afternoon and they had a lot of fun. We had lunch, did some shopping, went on a pony ride and they even got their nails painted at the Spa. We picked our pumpkins up the last Monday in September for FHE and the girls are so excited for this coming Monday the carving night! We are so excited for Halloween. We also went to the zoo over UEA with some of our friends (The Jacobs) and stayed up in Salt Lake. We did a little shopping at the Gateway and they had free pumpkin decorating the kids loved it! We saw Beverly Hills Chihuahua it was cute and the only movie out that I would take the girls too, they liked it! So there's a brief update of what we have been up to.
Aubrey's birthday pictures.
Aubrey had her 6 year old birthday on August 30. She had 3 celebrations this year! We went to Disney World and we celebrated in Cinderella's castle. Then the day we flew home was her actual birthday so I bought a cake and we had our family celebration that day and she got her Princess Cd player/ radio! Then in September we had our extended family party! What a lucky 6 year old to get 3 birthday cakes. We love you so much Aubrey! You are such a beautiful girl, so smart and talented too! Now if only time would slow down, but since it won't we will just enjoy every moment possible!
