Going Private

Due to recent events and things that have taken place, I'm gonna have to privatize this blog. I should have done this a while ago, but things have been crazy busy lately. So, this means that those who want to view this blog still will need to be invited and sign in to get access. I'm not sure how many people still read this anymore since I am terrible at keeping up with it, but if you would like to be invited just leave me a comment with your email address and I'll send out invites. I promise I will try to keep more updates. Love ya guys:-)

SeA WoRlD BaBy!!!

With Sea World just a  couple of hours from us we just HAD to take advantage and make a fun trip out of it. We decided to go to Sea World to celebrate Braydon's birthday. We went with Clint and Katie and had SO much FUN! And the best part? We got to go for F-R-E-E! Military can go to Sea World once a year for free. And not only that but we also got 30% off inside the park too. So all of our food and souveniers were cheaper too. LOVED IT!                       Image
Here is the fam waiting for the Shamu show to start. Notice the flower in Ambrias nose. Her life is a never ending search for flowers. She is OBSESSED!!!! We can't go anywhere without finding a flower for her.
Image
Our awesome ten year old. Man he is getting so big!!
Image
The kiddos got to lean over this pool to try to pet the dolphins. But their little arms couldn't quite reach.
Image
Our favorite part of Sea World were the whale shows. Shamu ROCKS!!
Image
The kids totally loved to see the whales do tricks and flips out of the water. Braydon was a little dissapointed that we didn't get wetter when they splashed the audience. Crazy kid, lol. Ambria plays in the bath now with a little whale and her little people are the audience watching the whale do flips out of the water, it's pretty much the funniest thing EVER!!

I don't even know what this thing is, but Ambria just HAD to touch it.
Image
Katie was SO excited to ride this ride, we couldn't say no. Hahhaa, just kidding. She was a good sport to sit with the kiddos. They are so cute to watch on these rides. I wish you could see Morgan better in this photo, she was so fuuny putting her arms up in the air for the whole ride while Ambria said "oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh!!"
Image
They had a whole little section of the park that was Sesame Street themed. They characters did a little song and dance and then came out to meet the kiddies.

Sea World was amazing and I'm so glad we went while the guys are still here. We have a checklist of things we want to do before D day. So Sea World....check!!

HaPpY 10th BiRtHdAy BrAyDoN!!!

Wow, I cannot believe my little boy is 10! Time really has flown by. He's like a little man now, and he definitly thinks he is bigger and older than he is. He's so excited to be in double digits now. It freaks me out a little, lol!
Well, this year he decided he wanted a Star Wars birthday party, so that's what he got. We decided to forgo the friend party and go to Sea World instead, so we had a little get together with Aunt Katie and Uncle Clint and our good friends Jon and Mandy (who the kiddos just love). We had pizza, ate cake and opened presents.

Katie and I decorated the house for him while he was at school, so when he came home he walked into this. He was so excited to see his decorations he almost teared up a little. Best Moment Ever!! :)

I made him a fun star wars cake. He loved it. These cakes are so fun! They are a pain in the butt, but fun. It took two and a half days to make this and about two and a half seconds to destroy it. But it's worth it to me. My kids will always remember their fun birthday cakes.

We made some star wars cupcakes too.

Happy Birthday my awesome boy! We love you so much and are so proud of you!!

FuN DaY @ ScHoOl!

Ambria had a blast at school today! It was rodeo day and all the little pre k kids got to go outside and pet and sit on the horses. Ambrias class made little cowboy vests to wear, they looked so cute!
Image                                            Image                                                             Ambria totally loved the horses. I really thought she would be a little nervous or afraid, but she went up and was the first one in line to get on. She wasn't afraid AT ALL! In fact she would have sat on that horse all day if they would let her. It was so fun!!

They also got to pet and sit on the pony too.Image

Afterwards her class did some homework and then had a pizza party. It was such a fun day at school. She loves her little class.

10 Things to Never say to a Stay-at-Home Mom

I found this article thanks to a friend, (thanks Leiah). I thought this was awesome!

10 Things To Never Say To a Stay-at-Home mom:

1: When the kids are older, do you think you'll get a real job?

2: How June Cleaver of you!

3: Oh, so you don't work?

4: Since you have extra time on your hands, could you whip up a few dozen brownies for the bake sale tomorrow?

5: All day with your kids? I can't even imagine.

6: I'm jealous, I wish my husband were rich so I wouldn't have to work either.

7: What do you do all day, anyway?

8: I'm sure you're not the only one who's ever wasted money on a college degree.

9: That explains why your son is so clingy!

10: Weird. I assumed your house would be super clean.

This cracks me up because it's so true!! Being a stay at home mom is not always the easy relaxed life that people think it is. It's a lot of work. Unlike a full time 9-5 job, our work never ends, we don't get to clock out and go home at the end of the day. In fact, the end of the day is our "busy season" because that's when dinner needs made, baths need to happen, teeth need brushed, and kids need to go to bed. Which, at least in my house, bedtime is a NIGHTMARE! It's like a BIG SURPRISE to everybody that everynight they have to put on pajamas and go to BED! If we're lucky we get an hour or two of quiet time after the kiddos are asleep, just to wake up the next morning and START OVER.

Although being a stay at home mom is hard work, it's one of the most rewarding things in my life. I love that I get to be here with the kids everyday. I never have to miss their first anything. I chose to be a stay at home mom when Ambria was born, and I don't regret it. I take pride in the fact that my kids don't have to go to day care. I love that I can be here when Braydon gets home from school and am able to help him on his homework. Everyday I get to see my kids' beautiful reunion when Braydon gets home from school and they run to eachother and hug. There's no way not to get joy out of that.

So I dare someone to say one those things to this stay at home mom, haha!!

Ambria's hair

I just love to do Ambria's hair and think up new ways to do it. I recently realized that it is finally long enough to french braid!!! It takes a little finness to get it done, but it worked! YAY!Image

Star Searching

This is not a great picture cause it was dark, but if we're being honest, I'm just not a great picture taker, but oh well. Braydon got a telescope from grandpa for Christmas and it was finally a clear enough night to try it out. He loved this! I got to see the moon and was so amazed. Image

Random Funness

My musical little girl. She was singing her heart out while hitting some serious star power, haha.Image
The kiddos sure love to snuggle with their daddy. And let's not kid ourselves, he loves it too!
Image
I can't believe Sadie sat there and let this happen!
Image
Ambria wearing her make up. If you look closely you can see Braydon lounging in the background. haha.

Valentine's Ball

Ambria and Morgan's little pre-pre-K class got invited to the pre-K valentines ball at school. Ambria was so excited for her school dance! She loved every second of it from getting all dressed up to the dancing. Here is my little Princess getting ready for her ball.                         Image
We put a little makeup on her and some glittery "pixie dust" as she calls it. She looks so pretty!! LOL.
Image
Here is her "up-do" that we did. She was a little upset that I pulled her "long hair" into the pony tail, but it's not a dance without an up-so, right?
Image
Here are a few pics of the little Princesses dancing away.

Image
This was so much fun, I think I had as much, if not more fun with it than the girls did. Ambria jsut loves to dance, it was really hard to get her to leave, she didn't want to stop dancing!

Valentine's With the Girlies

The girl's loved Valentines, there was so much pink and red and hearts everywhere! Katie made some cookies and let the girls decorate them by themselves, it was so cute! They could not stop eating the frosting and sprinkles and marchmallows as they were putting them on the cookies. Image
