one drama i do not enjoy

i love dramas.
everyone knows that.
but drama in school is uncool.
why is everything so hard? C told me not to get involved and don't take any sides. just be neutral. im always neutral and now i'm trying to keep the peace at the same time. what if we are divided? what if this small issue turns into a big argument? i know e and m didnt want to get involved as well, but they had been dragged into it and now everyone seems to be taking sides.
besides this long drama, this week has been tough on me. everything seemed to happen at once and i can barely handle it anymore. there are many blows and sudden, unwanted surprises. there are many things to worry about, to consider, to think about, to cry about and to indulge myself in.
failing physics is amongst the top worrier. i had decided then to join the other class in my free periods to get extra help, and some remarks from people about my choice made me worry a whole night. yes, i am still worried about it now but thanks to emma and manj, i felt much better. apparently, my decision to do so will probably send a "signal" to my phys teacher as if he is not a good enough teacher. but that isn't why, and i didn't even think about that when i decided to get extra help.
oh. and im really ill this week. blocked and runny nose at the same time. sounds antagonistic but at the same time synergistic! multiple nights of vigorous coughing, as well as constant headaches. trying hard to concentrate when im thinking but it always feels like im distant from myself, and i can hardly understand what im thinking or ..yea whatever.
i get teary very easily now. i had a deep papercut. i got a surprising txt and wondered if my reply was okay. i discovered something happened one year ago. an anniversary is coming up. there are goodbyes to be said. im missing the closeness. things are changing.
i really want to get away from it all.i sometimes wonder who can i talk to. there is so many things going on at once.. many people can say that they are there for me, but i suppose its mainly my fault because i choose not to confide. how do you define a close friend? someone to go through every moment with you? or for you to be there with them when they need someone? i think i do have many close friends but it depends what closeness really is. im finding it harder and harder to release all my feelings because just by thinking about them, tears would well up, and then my nose will start running and my vision would blur and i wouldnt be able to see what im typing, so i have to go get a tissue. no, 2 tissues, one for the eyes and one for the nose. grrr.
time is running out. but i need more time.

I really really really will go do some revision in half an hour!

But first, I shall blog about last night's dinner. I invited my friends Liv, Wils, Coco, Em, Manj, Keith, Arman, Justin and Anil over for a scrumptious dinner and scary movie night.
Justin was first to arrive and we played Snap, and other card games. Before long, Keith arrived, followed by Emma, then Wilson, then Manjot, then Livia and finally Coco and Arman. Anil couldn't make it at the last minute, therefore he'll expect a punch from me on Monday. Grr

Then the movies began. We started off with Juno - highly expected to be really good, but halfway thru it, we stopped watching because it was long and boring. Coco fell asleep. Haiih!
After Juno, we decided to watch the Japanese version of The Ring - Ringu. EEEEeee.. scary! eeeek. I'm shuddering now thinking about it. I missed half the movie though, I must say, because I had my bolster with me and I was covering my eyes the whole time. The seating arrangements had changed, and I was clutching on to Emma the whole time. Wils, who was sitting on the sofa behind us kept scaring us by dropping his hands on our heads. Justin, who'd seen it before, actually went RAAAAAAR at us, causing Manj and Em to scream and actually stood up. Hahahaa it was funny. Jas decided not to watch because she was scared of it and so she went upstairs. But Ivy stayed on to brave it out.

After that traumatizing 2 hours, Wils and Justin went home. By that time, it was 1am and the rest of us just hung around, talked and watched Russell Peters on youtube. We could NOT stop laughing. He was unbelievably funny! Go view now!
Then, we mucked about, and Coco and Manj argued about who was taller. That reminds me of when Manj argued with Wils last year during my birthday.

Coco comforting me on the floor. hahaa.. It was really sudden and the pain was sharp. I couldn't move for a good 10mins, and had to sit on the floor, toughing it out.
At about 3 ish, the guys left, and Liv, Manj, Em and I went upstairs. We had to go in twos to the bathroom to brush our teeth etc, because of the Ringu trauma. Teeeheeehee.
We talked until we fell asleep.
I had a great time and I know I will miss them greatly. I try not to bring it up and I keep wanting to take photos but I really don't know how to explain it to them that I want a lot of photos for memories. It seems really boring/lame that I keep taking photos all the time while we are doing fun stuff etc, "There's always one to bust out the camera" but I feel the need to.
I tried not to feel emo about me leaving, and I know I can be strong. I just need to have lots of fun, but at the same time do well in school. So... need more plans for outings and stuff!!
I just feel that even before I leave, we have already drift apart. ... haihh... Current mood: kinda tired and lazy

Last Friday, it was the start of half term, so Emma, Manj, Coco, Arman and I went to Pizza Hut for dinner. We were planning to watch Sweeney Todd, but our food arrived after the movie has started, so... yea, we were late.

Emma had to go home early so after eating, the rest of us walked around Ealing, whilst waiting for Manj's dad to pick her up.
Then Coco sent me home and Liv came around 8.30pm. We were talking in my room, and decided to see what Coco and Wilson will be up to, since they were going to meet up at Ealing. About 1 hour later, Coco, Wils and Arman were parking in the street next to my house and Liv and I went out to surprise them. Invited them in and we talked for a while before deciding to go to Wilson's house to hang out and play.
So instead of Liv sleeping over, I went over to hers, which is a few doors away from Wilson. That was the initial plan.

We hung out, watch vids, talk, eat, drink etc... till abit tooo late. We couldn't go back to her aunt's house at about 3am, so everyone decided to stay over. Liv and I managed to get the super pillow and blanket, lucky us.. :) and the guys slept downstairs.
The next morning, Coco and Arman went home at about 9 or 10am, and Liv went over to her aunt's to get Justin to join us. We went to Tesco to do some shopping, and bought some tuna, sweet corn, pasta.. etc, and went back to Wils' hse to cook lunch.
It was mainly Wilson who cooked the Tuna, Sweet corn Pasta while the three of us hung around and made ourselves look useful.

Mmmmmm it was soooo nice! And I usually don't like pasta.. I managed to finish the whole plate!
We ate and watched Bee Movie, it was my second time watching it.
Hmm, I'm currently doing well in my drama-deficiency. Even though I feel like I was going to crack a few times, I had to txt Emma and ask for her encouraging words. I can do it!
As for studying, everytime I open the books, my head goes swirly and dizzy. Chemmy is much better now, Maths I'm not too worried, Phys and Bio are the worst. I still have much to do for both of those. Jia You! I kept repeating to myself in Lynthia's voice "Gambate! Jia You!" and the many funny txt from Nanotay keeps me going through my revision. Thank you!
After chatting with Ah Wei today, I felt better, as if the stress dissolved. He's much too funny. But I'm glad and excited now! ;) more plans plans plans eh!
Current mood: headacheeee once I think about study :(

Chinese New Year 08

This year's Chinese New Year was like no other.. I had school.
It wasn't too bad, kinda used to the non-festive mood, though LynnWei and Yuankoko's presence, as well as their friends, have made it a bit more lively.
We had a big dinner on New Year Eve, with many various yummylicious food, but I didn't eat any of the meat because it was Ash Wednesday - and I had mass earlier on.
Then, on Saturday, Uncle Chen and Aunty Kim came over for dinner, and there were loads of delicious ...sushi!!! YAY! They were so delicious!
On Sunday, Jas, Mum and Dad went to Chinatown, or Trafalgar Square, or somewhere in that area, to watch lion dance performances.
Mummy made some CNY biscuits -
Kuih Bangkit which I brought to school for my friends and teachers to tryout and they loved it!
