I am all right

Youth?

We are not young anymore

I'm not young anymore
It saddens me when I am writing this
I miss everything in the age of 18.
And now, I'm 22.
Time to bid goodbye to 'Forever 20' group chat and 'Forever 21'

When I was young, I don't really use ' Back in the day'
I bet I'll use it often now.
High school life is always the best moment of my life.
We laugh, tear, hurt and grow in those olden days.

Aging is impossible to avoid
I have some negative feelings after watching 'To the Dearest Intruder'
It's not a nice Taiwanese drama because of the poor storyline.
But I just couldn't stop myself from finishing it.

Youth never returns.
Goodbye

Hope we can feel young at heart

Inseparable friendship

Hey,
I just want you to know that you girls are always the best.
I’m grateful that I have all of you in life.
This is the third month I have been leaving home to UK

Would our friendship be different when I study abroad?
Would I still be able to fit in to you girls after a year?
I asked myself.
I imagined a world of possibility.

We are on the Skype twice every week.
Sometimes, it is less or more than that.
Apparently we shared everything during Skype.
We have a Whatsapp group and it’s called “Sei 8 po”.
Yeah.
It’s exactly defining who we are and what we are.
:P

We used that group chat to express our emotions.
We shared our happy, anger, sadness and joy.
They stand with me through thick and thin.
They lend me the ears and shoulders all the time.
They don’t judge me even if I am complaining without making any sense.
They help me cope with tough time and giving unconditional support.
Because of you girls,
I don’t experience homesickness and loneliness in UK.

They are my sisters from different mothers.
They have the huge contribution in making who I am.
We generally have common ideology and opinions on things.
Although 6641 miles lie between us but we are never far apart.
Distance doesn't stop us from staying connected.
We are even closer than before, I would say.

“ A friend is someone who knows all about you and still loves you. "
Thanks for being my secret reservoirs, listeners, advisors, partners in crime and companions.
You have the power of turning every moment into memorable ones.

Thank you, my girls.

With love.

First post in United Kingdom

Hey there. How’s life?
It’d been ages since the previous blog
I wish I am as hardworking as last time.
I want my blog to be active just like how my mouth does
I flew to UK 2 months ago.
Everything is working well here.

It tells me how independent I can be, how strong (psychologically) I am and how far I can go to
In UK, I know how much I have to rely on own

I have only 4 days classes so far.
Tuesday is my only free day but I am so free everyday
Ain’t sure why is my English still the same.
I failed to pick up the British accent.
Hopefully I will be able to speak British English fluently before I leave this peaceful place.

I am very pleased with my accommodation.
Park Street is a busy street with all the happening pubs and clubs.
I do enjoy the life here.
I've decided not to go back for CNY celebration.
I treasure every moment I can stay in UK.

Travelling is what I want to do right now.
Studying abroad is a chance to travel more widely around the world in which I based.
Europe trips are at the top of the bucket list now.
Let's do this people
:D

Mixed feeling

What do you want?

What am I longing for?
Why am I feeling down?

Image

Dear bloggie,
I haven't seen you in a while.
How's life?
I just need a place to express my feeling.
Thanks god you're where I can spit my words out

I'm currently doing my fourth semester which are taking 7 subjects
Heavy and stressful.
Pray hard I could pass all the subjects in this semester.

I'm in a dilemma.
I'll call it irresolution.
I have to make my mind up whether I'm studying abroad or locally by this week.
I wanna experience UK life so badly.
The main problem is I have to take journalism course to replace Event subjects if I'm studying in UK.
I hate writing as well as I can't write.
I'm sucks at that.

I wanna leave where I'm used to be to somewhere new.

We planned to celebrate his birthday at Morganfield, IOI City Mall
We departed at 6.30 pm
6 of us squeezed in to a 5 seaters car
LMAO
Luckily IOI City Mall isn't that far
:P

We were craving for Pork ribs badly
Teehee
It was my first try on Morganfield Pork platter
It wasn't as nice as Naughty Babe Dirty Duck pork ribs but it's good though.

11 Things You Never Thanked Your Best Friend For, But Meant To

Read an interesting yet true article on fb recently. It's well explained the importance of having best friends. They meant a great deal to me. What about you?

Your best friend is, by far, one of the most important people in your life to whom you often forget to say thank you.

Through the good, the bad and the ugly, somehow she just gets you. And, somehow, your appreciation for her gets lost amongst the moments of pain and laughter you share together.

You say thank you for the little things, like the dinner she made or the movie she let you borrow, but rarely, if ever, for what’s more important.

These are 11 of those things for which you forgot to thank her, but meant to along the way.

For all the times she let you come back after you strayed too far away.

Whether it be because of a relationship, finding yourself or other personal reasons, your best friend always lets you do your own thing for awhile because she knows you’ll come back eventually.

You’re meant to try new things and mess up a few times; you’re free to embark on your own journey.

But, in the end, you realize who and what’s important in your life. And, no matter how many times you get lost, you always make your way back to find that your best friend is always right there to welcome you.

That time you were in a half-relationship with someone who wasn’t worth the time or effort, yet she didn’t stop you.

Remember the guy whose words sounded like nothing short of a sweet symphony every time he spoke? Looking back now, it’s the biggest piece of Googled Hallmark text ever.

Although it would have been nice for a wake-up call via megaphone or a bucket of ice-cold water poured over your head to bring you back to reality, your best friend let you wander aimlessly on cloud nine for a while.

We learn best through experience, so she let you fall head-over-heels until that symphony turned into overly auto-tuned garbage.

Thanks to her, you now know what type of people to avoid and have countless running jokes about What’s-His-Name.

For being so patient when you babble on and on about your life and problems, and you forget to ask how she’s doing.

Sometimes, you get really into a story or topic and completely disregard taking a break, or even letting her chime in for 30 seconds. And, when she finally gets the chance to say something, you unintentionally cut her off and bring the subject back to you.

You never mean to, and you know her life is just as important, but sometimes, you forget life isn’t just about you.

The time she unwillingly went on a double date with you, that guy you liked and his friend.

Remember when you had a crush on that cute guy? And, since you didn’t know said guy too well yet, you asked her if she wanted to hang out with you, cute guy and cute guy’s average friend?

She said no because she knew it was going to basically be like a double date. You begged and promised to stay with her the whole night, and she still said no.

But, because she’s your best friend, she eventually came around, and in the end, the night was super awkward for her. Not to mention, you didn’t stay with her the whole time like you said you would. Oops.

For letting you borrow her favorite shirt/skirt/piece of jewelry/movie, and then letting you take forever to give it back.

Regardless of whether you lost it or loved it so much that you kept on “forgetting” to give it back to her, you knew she wanted it back, but selfishly, you held on to it.

Months or even years later, you “found” it (or in some cases, replaced it if you lost it), and finally “remembered” to put it in your bag. At least you gave it back though, right?

And, for those still harboring that favorite shirt/skirt/piece of jewelry/movie that belongs to your best friend, maybe it’s time to hand it back over.

For sticking by you through your most awkward stages.

When you look back at old photos (the kind you took on your digital or disposal cameras, flip phone and BlackBerry), it’s hard to imagine how anyone stayed friends with you back in the day.

The braces? The uneven side bangs? The acne that splattered all over your face at the start of your teenage years? She stuck with you through it all.

Rather than judging you for stuffing your face with carbs, she joins you.

Your best friend isn’t truly your best friend if you don’t enjoy this one pastime together: eating. If there’s anything you two always do together, it’s eat.

Every time you get together, there is some sort of food or beverage you consume.

You talk and eat. Watch TV and eat. Shop and eat. Take road trips and eat. Your best friend never judges you for those two slices of pizza and frozen yogurt and cookies you ate for dinner. Instead, she eats her own share right beside you.

Now that’s true friendship.

For the times she smoothly covered for you when your parents asked her how her family party was “you two went to the other night.”

Except, there was no family party, and you weren’t with her. And, you forgot to inform her about the fake family party you two had attended. Luckily, you both speak a language of your own, and that look you gave her was enough to let her know to keep calm and just go with it.

For letting you treat her home like your home.

We’re talking taking over her bed when you sleep over, forgetting to unplug and put her hair straightener back in its rightful place after you’re done using it and trying on her whole closet and tossing everything in a giant pile on her bed.

This category also includes the rights to raid her refrigerator and plop yourself on her living room couch as you wait for her at her house. Because you also let yourself in while she wasn’t home yet.

For never saying, “I told you so,” out loud.

She’s given you the look and never disagreed when you told her she was right, but she never says those four words out loud. Best friends don’t need to make a scene when one is wrong.

You two share a special bond and have a way of communicating without words; there is no need to boast when one is right. There’s a specific set of phrases every dynamic duo often uses, and “I told you so” is not one of them.

For always telling you how it is.

Your best friend is the only person who will be blatantly honest with you at all times.

She laughs at every bad outfit you try on, rolls her eyes every time you mention What’s-His-Name and calls you out on bad decisions before you follow through with them — because you both know you’ll regret them later on.

She lets you cry, wallow and vent when you need to, but when it’s time to get up from that slump, she’ll no longer offer her shoulder but stick out her hand to help you back up.

Without her advice, friendship or number memorized in your head, you would be lost in this crazy world.

Short getaway to Bukit Tinggi and Genting

Image
It's mid term break.
Hoorayyyyy
We've planned to have a trip to Bukit Tinggi and Genting Highland two weeks ago.
It's kinda late because I didn't realise that it's few days away from the holiday.
We quickly made reservation for the hotel room once we've decided to go.

Nothing much to tell about the trip.
It's a simple yet fun trip
:)
There's a thing I wanna share before I stop writing.
Heee

His friends 'encouraged' him to give a try to gambling in Genting Casino.
It would be a cool experience, they claimed this.
I doubt that.
I didn't give any comment to it since I'm underage
I'm still illegal for entering casino
:(

Therefore,
I wanted to try going in to casino last night
I'm a little bit nervous at first.
It's considered cheating, isn't it?
I calmed myself down and walked in steadily.
The security checker didn't check on me.
Should I be happy or upset?
I'm happy because I had the chance to explore the casino.
The entry satisfied my curiosity.
In the meanwhile, it's hurt because apparently I'm looking older than the actual age
:/

Image

We had our coffee time before we went in.
It's cool to be having hot chocolate at outdoor.
I'm highly satisfied
:D

I shall stop now
:)

The somebody :P

Someone walked into my life

I know it's a bit late for telling
:P
There's nothing special about this so I kept that with me
Heeeee

Who, When, Where, What, Why and How questions will be answering if you're asking me personally
Hahahah.
I have no idea what's the point for writing this.
Bear with my bullshits
=P

Another 8 days to day 100
To the companion,
Thankiew
:)

October

Hi, October

I know it's kinda late to greet for the arrival of Oct
I'm trying my best to enjoy this month to the max.
The next month is gonna be very scary
:(

November is the month which most of the assignments due on.
I went to check every course outline to ensure that I'm aware of all the assignments.
I don't wanna fail any of it
D:
The number of assignments stressed me out.

13 assignments to go for this semester.
Luckily event subjects are not really heavy
:/
However,
I still need to work on it
This is the list of all assignments and homeworks
Aren't these freaking people out?

Image

I had a mid term test for the subject of Intro to Event and Meetings today.
The class and test have been canceled due to the absence of lecturer.
We were already getting ready for sitting for this paper
:(
It's wasting our time
The test has been postponed to yhe week after mid term break
Sigh.

I'm running out of time
Pfft
Suffocating
I'll make good use of mid term break
Sob

I'm gonna lock myself at home for completing the works.
Strictly no activities in Nov because it's the month for assignments completion and final exams preparation.
Hope I'm able to cope with all these
:'(

Bullshits :P

I'm gonna bullshits in this post

You can skip this if you ain't interested to it.
I just want a place to spit it out.

Guess I ain't a good friend.
I should voice out to let them know about their problems.
At least they're aware of it and make a change, perhaps?
Their biggest problem was they never spend their time wisely.
Instead of spending time gossiping and criticizing, I personally think that they ought to be learning to be a better friend.
Too bad I lost interest to correct them right from wrong.
Don't think they would listen to me though
*Evil laugh*

Sometimes you can't expect people to treat you like how you treat them.
It's not the matter of worthy or not worthy.
Some people just did not appreciate it.

This is life.
:)

September 5, 2014

This is a trend now

Lets do it babe.
I'm tagged by a few of friends to reveal 20 facts about me.
Of course not to forget about my bloggie.
I'll post it here as well :)
Image

Before I start writing, I wonder where to find so many facts to be written.
While I'm typing, I realised that I have more than 20 facts about me to share with all of you :P
I've picked the 20 most wanted to share facts.

Here we go.

1. I prefer people to call me 'Ke-Xin' as most of the people couldn't pronounce 'Co Shin' correctly. It sounded weird yet funny sometimes.

2. I'm not a typical Virgo because I did not have most of the Virgo characteristics.

3. I want my things to be done perfectly but I'm sure that I'm not a perfectionist ( The reason why I said I'm not a typical Virgo)

4. Friendships mean a lot to me. I have few bunches of good friends :D

5. I'm sensitive and I tend to put myself in the mopes. Literally I'm depressing myself 😏

6. I'll choose Coffee Bean rather than choosing Starbucks. I'm a coffee and milk tea freak btw.

7. I love travelling.

8. I'm indecisive and I always take forever just to make a simple decision.

9. I did not know how to cook and I wish I have somebody to learn from. ( Mom doesn't cook at home) 😏

10. I'm a night owl as I stay up till late every night. I'll find excuse for myself to sleep late everyday.

11. I hate to get up in the morning. I always wake up at noon.

12. I routinely cry when I'm watching touching dramas, commercials and videos. (Ain't crying much in reality)

13. I write blog.

14. My laziness was 100000000000x than the laziest person in the world 🙈

15. I never start doing work and thing early. I'm a forever procrastinator.

16. Like phoning up for a chat with my favorite person every midnight.

17. Japanese foods are always the first choice of mine.

18. I'm suck at handling problems and shits.

19. I'm eyebrow-less 🙈 Thanks for the existence of eyebrow pen.

20. I have a tough exterior, but I had to admit that deep down inside I'm actually weak.

Thank you for your time

Taiwan Trip- Day 1

[4th of August - 10th August 2014]

Day 1- 4/8/2014

Wootssss.
The day has finally come
I wasn't really excited at first.
But I was a little bit nervous because I'm taking plane
Yes.
The general way to travel from Malaysia to Taiwan is to fly.
I'm scared to fly in a plane after the three cases of plane crash
:S
*Deep breath*

We're taking 10 morning flight :)
Jian met at my house by 7.30am
Then the journey to airport took us 45 mins.
It's considered late because we needed to check in our luggage.
We quickly got into the queue for checkins.

We bought 25kg for the luggage checkin
Thanks god it's ngam ngam
:P
We walked rapidly to the international departure hall because KLIA 2 is big.
We did not want to miss the flight.
Lol.
Something silly happened when we're pressed for time
I'm such a scatterbrain D:
I found out that I've left my pillow at Mc Donald after we passed through the customs. (Bag-searches)
I requested the customs officer to allow me to go out for getting it back.
It wasted 5 mins for explaining and waiting :(
I was in a hurry.
My plane was taking off in 20 mins
I ran immediately to the McD counter to ask
I wanted to ensure that I could get in to the customs before the plane flies.
I couldn't find my pillow and I went back.
I zipped through customs.
Phew ~

And I saw my pillow was on the machines which is at customs
Wtf.
I assumed that I left it there accidently after the bag searches.
I didn't have to run out all the way to McD just to get this because it won't be there.
.____.
My heartbeats steadied when I got to get into the plane on time.

We landed safely at the time of 2.40pm
Zeann was waiting for us at the arrival hall.
The Taiwan 's customs were packed.
The queues of non-residents were so long :/

The first thing we did when we got out was buying Taiwan Simcard
Heeeee.
It costed us NTD 500 for the SIM card which is 7 days unlimited internet and 200NTD credit.
We would be staying at Zeann 's place for the first two nights.
Thanks to Zeann for taking us in and guiding us in trip.

Her place was near to San Xia.
It was only 20 mins drive away from Tao Yuan airport.
We didn't know that she wasn't staying at town till the night before we came.
Luckily we booked two nights hotel in Ximending for the 3rd and 4th night.
It was a last min plan.
Her place wasn't really convenient but it was big and comfy.
We had to take bus from her house to MRT station which taken 20-35 mins
(YongNing, Banqiao and FuZhong)
And we had to make sure we reach MRT before 11.30pm because the last bus was 12.15am.
Can't imagine how are we gonna go home if we are late.
It seemed to be a 'curfew' to us.

These are our itinerary for 7 days trip
:D
We wanted to make sure well-spent in various night markets scattered around Taipei.
I posted these photos here because I can refer to this next time
I promise myself I would go back to Taiwan in three years time
Teehee
I'm so in love with Taiwan.

We took bus from 大学风吕 (Zeann's place) to FuZhong MRT station.
Then we went to JianTan station by train.
(Shilin)
We arrived there by 5.30pm.
Zeann wasn't following us as she had something else to do.
We began our journey with Shilin night market.
We tried out most of the interesting and local foods at there.
Guess what? Taiwanese foods are cheap and nice.
Awesome is the only word to describe the foods there.
Woohoooooo~
I tried the Potato with Hawaiian pizza toppings topped with hot nacho cheese.
Ohm mom nom

All the people in Shilin NM were super friendly.
I was surprised on the manners and culture of Taiwanese people.
They were cool
We got excited when we saw SASA and Watson.
Cosmetics are all women' killers
We were ready to spend on cosmetics
:P

We spent nearly 5 hours at there.
Believe it not!
I know it was crazy but we did it
Heeeee.
Fun yet tiring!
We were happy kids because of the stuffs we've gotten from night market.
Both of us spent little on foods only.
RM20 for each person for today's meals.
Isn't it cheap?
This was just a draft.
I didn't really mention everything out

Image

We left at 10.30pm.
I guess we didn't manage to walk every part of Shilin.
It was too big.
We reached home at 12am.

Taiwan weather was really hot.
There's not a breath of air
I felt like dying when it's so so so stuffy in the room.
I hate sultry weather
We asked Zeann to turn on air cond as we couldn't stand with it anymore
I hope it was a gusty day :(

August 20, 2014

Taiwan Trip Day 2-3

[4th of August - 10th August 2014]

Day 2- 5/8/2014 & Day 3 6/8/2014

I wasn't really in a good mood this morning
:'(
I was smothering in this stuffy atmosphere
I felt oppressed with the sultry heat.
My face vegan to swell out.
I was freak out by my swollen face.
Guess it was the second time of swollen.
The first time was during famine 30 hours
(Lack of sleep and drinking too much water at midnight due to hunger)
:( :( :(
This was how I looked like in the morning
I gave up on putting on makeup because my face was too BIG
:P

Luckily we were spending another two nights in hotel.
The hotel room should be better
I hope.
We brought our stuffs along to the cafe shop for breakfast.
The breakfast gave me high satisfaction
I was falling for the 'egg pie' (蛋饼)
It's awesomely nice.
What a nice recommendation from Zeann
:D

We took bus and train to Ximending station.
We were praying hard that the hotel wasn't far away from MRT.
We carried lots of bags and stuffs.
And the hotel location was perfect.
It only needed us to walked 200-300meters.
Heeeeeeee.
Tomorrow Hotel (明日大饭店) located at a very happenening place.
We left our bags at reception counters as the checkin time was 2pm.
It's only 11 o'clock in the morning
We put on quick makeup.
The main reason is to cover my swollen face up
:I

The first destination of the day was 国父纪念馆 ( Sun-Yat Sen Memorial Hall)
It was basically a simple museum for Taiwan and China histories.
We went through every hall and Taipei 101 was next.
We tried to catch the best angle of Taipei 101 building while we were on the way walking from GFJNG to Taipei 101.
Here we go :P

Literally Taipei 101 was like our KLCC.
It's luxury shopping mall.
We had our lunch at food court.
We shared a set lunch of Ru Rou rice
We went back to hotel for a short rest by train.
It wasn't in our plan actually.
We needed air cond to relief ourselves
We took a power nap.

We arrived Wu Fen Pu at 5.30pm.
(Hou Shan Pi station)
The clothes here didn't really catch my attention.
We took quick walk and skipped it.
And then, Rao He Night Market was the next.
This night market was more to Taiwanese foods.
We had our dinner there.
We went back to hotel early because we wanted to get in to the top club before 11pm.
We noticed that the club wasn't opening today after we're back to hotel.

Wow.
Guess it's a chance for us to rest early tonight.
Lol.
We just couldn't stop from eating.
We weren't spending much today.
Here it goes
Image

The hotel room was good :)
We're highly satisfied with it.

Day Three - 6/8/2014

We did some changes for the itinerary because we wanted to sub the clubbing in.
Today's schedule was slightly packed
We tried our best to reduce wastage of time.
We got up at 9am.
We had our breakies at hotel restaurant after dressed up.

Taipei Zoo was the first place we went on today.
I forgot to apply sunblock before I went out :/
There's a light rain falling when we were walking inside.
It's only spitting but we still used the umbrella.
Thanks god we brought umbrella as a precaution.
:D
We were adviced by Zeann that we must not expose to rain due to the high level of acidic.

We spent 3 hours inside.
The zoo entrance ticket was only NTD 30.
This was worthy.
*Big thumbsup*

Mao Kong Gondola Taipei (猫空缆车) was the next destination.
We walked from the zoo to the Mao Kong.
We went to the final station by cable car (gondola).
Mao kong is a small hill that famous for great tea and beautiful view above the city.
The environment was good for short getaway and chilling.
We found a cafe and had a cup of ice cream.
Nothing can be better :P

We went back to hotel afterwards.
Ximending night market was the next.
It was a modern night market more popular for shopping.
It's fun to shop with young, fashionable and romantic crowds
We didn't get much stuffs from here because we were in hurry :P
I bought three pairs of Birkenstock sandals.
One was for myself, one was for sister and the another one was for Yuzie
:D

And of coarse, not to forget to mention about the famous Mee Suah in Ximending - Ah Chung Mee Suah
For oyster vermicelli, Ah Chung 阿宗面线 has always been the prime choice.
My cousin sis and auntie highly recommended this to me before I went to Taiwan.
I've been searching for this stall since the day one in Taipei.
I would prefer to try the main branch which is at Ximending so I decided to have it here
We added a small spoon of chili and it was really lip-burning hot.
You would have no idea how spicy the chill is.
It's just a small spoon but I almost die for it
Arghhhhhh.
I'm craving for it while I'm writing this post
:/
Take me back to Taipei
D:

It's just walking distance from Ximending to our hotel.
We dressed up for Luxy nightclub after showered.
Heeee.
Luxy is Taiwan 's premier club and it's the buzz in Taipei
Wednesday is ladies night therefore we got free entry but we had to pay for the drink we ordered.
We did not really danced because it's still early for being wild I guess
Teeheeeee.
We left at 1am as we needed to take cab to go back to hotel.
Luxy worthes a visit and we had a great night over there.
At least we got to experience another country's night life
:D

That's all for day three :)
Here's my spending on today.
