At Riffraff, some of our very favorite decor pieces that we carry are the funky handcrafted frames of 2Katie designs. Exclusive to Riffraff, a 2Katie frame can liven up any space with its bold shape and color! Even more interesting than the frames though are the women behind the 2Katie brand; Katie Tennis and Katie Tillman. Get to know more about these fabulous women from our exclusive interview with the two Katies!!!

Tell us about your hometown...

Katie 1: I’m a yankee – originating from Washington State but love the south & the sunshine!

Katie 2: I was a "Wal-Mart transplant" from Illinois when I was 11 yrs old, but consider Bentonville my hometown, it's where I grew up, and where my family is.

 

Favorite color?

Katie 1: I’m obsessed with Yellow! From buttery to neon I can’t get enough of Yellow.

Katie 2: Green , it just makes me happy.

Your favorite band/musician?

Katie 1: I spend too much time playing my daughter's playlist full of Bieber, Jo Bros. & Selena Gomez but if I get to control the music I could listed to the band Love & Theft all day every day.

Katie 2: Eric Church, his music is real and down to earth. If my life had a soundtrack I would want him writing the lyrics and singing them to the world.

What is the best vacation you have ever been on?!

Katie 1: We love cruising in the Caribbean, island hoping…probably my favorite island stop has been Belize where its blue water & white sand as far as you can see.

Katie 2: Taking our son to Disney!

Dream vacation?

Katie 1: A permanent one! I dream of living in a shack on a sandbar in Belize forever.

Katie 2: Not an Italian Cruise. (Just sayin')

Who is your role model?

Katie 1: I’m fortunate, I don’t have to look far for great examples in my life. But hands down, I’m married to an AMAZING man who I look up to so much. I wish everyone could experience what it’s like to have someone believe in you and support you 100%. He makes me want to be better every day!

Katie 2: My Dad. He has taught me that things are not handed to you. If you want something in this world you really have to work for it, and earn it. 

Who/what inspires you?

Katie 1: Nothing inspires me like a deadline. Bahahaha!

Katie 2: My kids Parker and Paisley. Seeing the world through there eyes inspires and amazes me everyday.

Who is your favorite actor and actress?

Katie 1: I’m a Twi-hard daydreaming about Robert Pattinson embarrassingly enough.

Katie 2: Betty White, I would like to think there is a little bit of Betty White in all of us.

Anything else you want to share?!!

Katie 1: Silly fact – we are a family of animal lovers! We’d have a farm in a minute but for right now we  have a couple rascally adopted dogs that have our hearts. I look forward to cuddling on the couch each evening with our 3 legged black lab “Buddy”.

Katie 2: You know that person in the room during the awkward situation that makes everyone laugh? I've been told that's me. I like to laugh, I like to make other people laugh, you should find something to laugh about everyday!
