JANATHON – DAY 10

14 January 2014

I had to go here:

So I got side-tracked and…erm…I’ve walked the dog every day, but as I do that 365 days a year anyway, I don’t know if it can count as Janathon… I’m probably out.

JANATHON – DAY 8

8 January 2014

Yay! A very decent six kilometres of jog racked up in the park. Finally feels like Janathon is on its way! I forgot to take a picture of something interesting…

JANATHON – DAY 7

8 January 2014

More brisk dog walking. This rain situation is getting tedious.

JANATHON – DAY 6

8 January 2014

More brisk walking for an hour around Greenwich Park. At least the dog is happy.

JANATHON – DAY 5

5 January 2014

Back in the saddle! Light dogjog around Greenwich Park in the gloom of late afternoon. It rained just as we got back in the car. Slick!

JANATHON – DAY 4

5 January 2014

I cleared out/up the basement (= a serious workout involving bending, lifting, throwing, sorting, stepping, hurling), took the dog for a brisk walk round the rainy park and jumped up and down vigorously at a very exciting ice hockey match (Streatham Redskins v Invicta Dynamos). It was too wet to run.

JANATHON – DAY 3

3 January 2014

Seriously, Janathon, this is no weather to offer anyone wanting to do more than a brisk dog walk. On the upside, there was a Janathon rainbow (it was a lot clearer in real life!)!

JANATHON – DAY 2

2 January 2014

Much better today when the view from Greenwich looked like this:

Light jog around the park for 40 minutes. Am easing my way into Janathon with a mellow 3 km.

JANATHON – DAY 1

1 January 2014

A dog, but not much jog. For the first day of Janathon, I managed a brisk walk around Greenwich Park which, considering the weather, was, frankly, a bit of a feat in itself…

RESURRECTION

31 December 2013

I’d forgotten about this blog completely until JogBlog sent an e-mail about Janathon. Well, I’ve actually received that twice without taking any notice – both in 2012 and 2013. But let’s try again!
