Our New Family Member (with gills)

We decided to let Brooklyn get a fish! She picked out Mr. Dos (that she also calls "Blue Fishy") and helps us feed him every morning. It has been fun to have him around and watch her talk about him.

Aquarium

Through my mom's work, we were able to attend a family day at the Austin Aquarium. My mom, Sister and her family, My niece Bryleigh and us were all able to attend. It was fun, but poor Brooklyn ended up with a fever later that day. So we felt bad we dragged her around the aquarium. She loved the sharks and was a little timid about feeding the sting rays. We are always up for a new place to visit!

Summer is for Cousins and Swimming

We love to be outside and swimming is one for our favorite summer activities! We have already had some great summer adventures with cousins.

Day at the Temple

Brandon and I spent a day at the San Antonio Temple and it was just what we needed to recharge and refocus! My best friend, since middle school, was going to the Temple for the first time and I was thrilled to be there with her. There was several friends there too and it was just a special day. I was grateful to be there with my husband. I love the blessings and promises of the Temple that bind my marriage and family together forever. It truly is a holy place and there is nowhere that brings the peace and understanding like the Temple does.

We also went to eat at Kneaders after and that is the only place we took a picture from the whole day!

My monkey just makes me laugh! I love the time I get to be with her. I love when I walk into a room and see her doing something completely random and funny.

Ikea ice cream for Family Home Evening

Brooklyn loves her Ipad time! It is only for a few minutes but she thinks it is the best!

Shaved ice has been our summer treat of choice!

Brooklyn loves music and singing. She has learned a lot about drums from playing with Brandon.

Baby Shower

We had a baby shower for Baby Girl #2 and it was so much fun! We are so loved by friends and family and I enjoyed the time just catching up with friends. It was a really cute baby shower and asked for mostly diapers and wipes. We were given lots of diapers and wipes and we were so excited about it!!

Baby showers are so fun and it was a great party!! My friend Sherri even made the beautiful cake.
