two new items

I released two new items at ScrapMatters yesterday . . . take a look!

These are some fun photo masks to add a little personality to your photos.

Here is a page I made using the plain border:

These number brushes can be used on digital layouts OR in hybrid form. I've used the numbers with the dotted borders to make countdown-type calendars before. Just print them out and punch them with a circle punch. Here's an example:

friday means new stuff!

My shop at ScrapMatters is slowly growing, but I have a lot of new stuff in today!! All the images are linked, so just click on them to go to the item in my store.

First off, I have a bunch of printable forms that have really come in handy at our home:
Photobucket

To go along with "The Basics" printables, I have these Weekly Calendars:
Photobucket

For one week, if you buy The Basics, you get the Weekly Calendars for FREE!!
Photobucket

You don't need to add the calendars to your cart . . . just purchase "Let's Get Organized: The Basics" and the calendars will automatically be included in your downloads. This offer is good until November 20, 2009.

Here are some of the things I've used the calendars for. They have been especially helpful for my kids to keep track of their homework.

Next I have this Popcorn Box Template:
Photobucket

This makes a great little box for treats, party favors, and especially gift cards.

I also have one that is ready-to-print created to look like a traditional popcorn bucket:
Photobucket

This is a fun one to use for movie gift cards. In the sample, I crumpled up little squares of yellow construction paper to look like popcorn.

These popcorn templates are available in a bundle for a great, low price:

Whew! Thanks for stopping by, and stay tuned for more fun hybrid templates and printables coming in the next few months!

The other new release I have is a 12-month desktop calendar template, all ready to just add your paper and photos. The .png files are also included, so you can use the calendar grids on other projects as well!

my idea of paradise . . .

Happy iNSD, everyone! Thanks for stopping by. This is stop #11 on the ScrapMatters blog train! ScrapMatters has some great sales going on today, so make sure you head on over there after you hop off the blog train! In addition to the 40% off you get on your purchases today, you can also earn this huge collab kit if you spend $15:

Image

Isn't this a great kit? It's packed full of all kinds of fun stuff.

We're talking about paradise today, and honestly, my idea of paradise is being with my family no matter where we are. One of my favorite places we go every year is Bear Lake (on the Utah/Idaho border). It's a laid back, relaxing few days where we can just hang out and be together . . . no obligations, no pressure, just fun. We spend time on the beach, in the water, by the campfire, and in the cabin playing games. So much fun! Using the collab kit above, I created this 5x7 page of a photo I took of the lake at sunrise.

Image

If you like it, you can download a quickpage version of it here.

Have fun on the rest of the blog train. The stop right before mine is Chia, so if you missed it, you can go to her blog by clicking here.

If you're ready to go ahead to stop #12, that's Krista, and you can get to her blog by clicking here.

If you want to make sure you hit all the stops and don't miss any, stop #1 is Andrea, and her blog is here.

I'll leave you with a slideshow of pictures from our Bear Lake vacation last year, you might get a glimpse of why I love it so much! :)

nsd speed scraps

One of my very favorite things at ScrapMatters are their Speed Scraps. They are a quick, fun way to get some scrapbooking done and earn free stuff, too. We are holding a bunch this weekend for NSD! Here is a schedule:

Here is the page I created tonight at Denise's Speed Scrap:

I'm hosting tomorrow (Saturday) at 8 pm MST, and look what you get just for participating:

Heather has created some great papers, don't you think? I'm really excited about them, and we're going to have a great time at all the speed scraps, so stop by and join in!

spring freebie

I created these fun, punchable spring circles to use as gift tags and thought I would share. I've included a .pdf file that is ready to just print and punch. They are sized to fit a circle or scallop punch that is 1.5" or bigger. I've also included the .png and .abr files so you can make them whatever color and size you want. You can grab them here. Enjoy!
