So yesterday i went shopping...
Jul. 28th, 2009 01:54 am... and I found myself in Victoria's Secret. Not shocking cause I love lotions and stuff, plus pretty underware is irresistable in my book.
I like to match my panties to my outfit, I know very anal retentive but it's true! It makes me feel pretty and put together on the inside even though I might be windblown, multiple bags hanging off my shoulders, shirt askew, eyeliner smudged, and my shoe laces have a tendency to become untied, I still feel put together.
So, I'm shopping, smelling everything in site at the body shop portion, touching all the pretty things on the other side and I find myself turning my nose up to the thong panties with a rhistone butterfly in the back. As much as I like feminine things, I am deffinately not 'girly'. I've been a tom-boy my whole life and proud of it, however my reason for not liking the panties was not related to the butterfly or escessive use of glitter. Oh no, I went all fuddy duddy on myself and did a mental tirade about why would someone shove a rhinstone butterfly up their ass-crack.
Then it hit me - I'm getting old! I was practicly standing there saying, "In my day..." to any stranger that would listen!
So, of course, after freaking myself out, I bought a pair. They have a dragon fly.

Jul. 26th, 2009 03:22 amWell, he's a great guy, just like she said. Thoughful, offered to carry her laundry in after reminding her she wanted to start it right after dinner, chatted up all the adults, well the older ones their both 21, didn't seem nervous answering questions about himself, got in on the jokes and cracked a few of his own, soaked up everything we inadvertantly let slip about her, they known each oher a few months but only been serious-ish for one apparently. She seems to be well liked by his fam, which is always a plus. He's ridiculously smart, thank God! He drove her home from school since he only lives about 30 minutes away and since she doesn't have her car he's been taxiing her around on errands she needs to get done before her trip to Scotland next week. He delayed his trip back to school so that he'd be around to see her off at the airport. She's going to be gone for 3 weeks, studying in Scotland and then touring Europe with a gal pal, he's leaving for school right after she takes off.
I'm soooooooooo glad that she finally met someone who understands how truely wnderful and precious she is!
Anyway. Other than the sis and the fact that I'm going to be nervous the whole time she's away, all is okay on my front.

Also, the IMDB lists a possible new movie with Kevin Spacey. Should be out in 2010 but he's only rumored. It sounds interesting, a comedy.

Embarrising moments = Fic Ideas!
Jul. 1st, 2009 12:00 amBut today, somthing similar was brought up on television and now I'm thinking back on stuff that i did or happened to me that totally embarresed me, at least at the time, that now looking back is HYsterical!
Example: Answering the phone saying, "I love you", cause I was thinking about a someone special and a disturbing telemarketer being on the other end. The worse part was i was so flustered that all I could say was "gotta go" and then a slow quiet click, then I promptly freaked out. Then = Terror and embarresment, Now = funny with a side of giggles.
I have so many of these that it's ridiculous! People have often told me i should write a book about the odd things that happen to me or people I meet. It's like odd stuff is just attracted to me!
Soooo, what about you circle (f-list)? What's your embarrising moment that you like to share. Tell me your's and I'll tell another in my response.
You never know, we may come up with some great fic ideas!
Puppy Update!

At this moment he has moved to the opposite side of the bed from where he was laying while I was away fat work, it seems he licked his paws and slept. So now I'm sitting in his wet spot, he's such a guy! ;)

Jun. 24th, 2009 12:36 amFIRST: (I really don't know comics well enought for this one, without massive research so that is also limiting this bunny)
Maxima, Batman, and Lex are all being help captive together by some foe, someone who could capture them all and keep them that way until Superman came to free them. The scene in my mind has the three listening to the capturer explain how unworthy they all are of Superman's attentions and how they, the capturer, will be the only nemises/lover that Superman will ever know in the future, as if any of them are worth rescuing. Ending with all three exclaiming, "He will come for ME!" Then stuff ensues.
I'm seeing this as angsty/crack/humor/drama. Or something of the kind. =)
SECOND:
Lex marries Kal-El, a reclouse who is way past marrying age but has never married, so that he can gain citizenship on Krypton. Kal-El and Lex both know the marriage is a sham, Lex agrees for reasons stated above, Kal-El agrees to get his parents off his back so he can continue his studies in private. LOTS of angsty stuff ensues, including some jealous Kal and jealous Lex when the two are forced into the public to prove that Kal is indeed married and they both see the reactions of others to each other. (I hope that sentance makes sense ) In my mind it ends with hot stuff and lovey-dovery.
So, please, someone take these bunnies and care for them! Mold them into fun, hot, CLEXiness before they die of lonliness!

..started off normally. Got coffe on the way into work, people nabbed me as i walked in the door, cause I've been gone a couple days so like everything breaks down and everyone forgets everything I've taught them on how to fix the stuff so their freaking out. i swear, I teach people, leave detailed notes, and have created extremely specific manuals for everything I do, down to printing off the screens they'd be looking for so they can compare for themselves, and people still freak if I'm out for more than one day. Whatever.
So I handle all the real issues and start doing what I should be for the day and most goes well, after lunch if another story. My mom calls and says the dog, my BABY, is having a siezure and I need to come home right away. So i fly out of work, yelling my reasons as I pass by the people who should know what's up, and come home. He was concious when i got there but it was a recent change. So I carry him tothe car, rush to the vet, they draw blood, talk about tumors, hopefully an infection of some sort that they can treat with antibiotics.
I know myself. I've watched freinds and family members give their pets intrevenus treatments everyday for years, pay for thousands of dollars of tests and drugs just to prolong their pets lives a few more months. I'm not that kind of person. Don't get me wrong, I adore my baby. My husband and I got him as a gift for each other our first Christmas together when we got married. My Dave named him titan because he read somewhere that the Titans were supposed to be the protectors of the most precious things on Earth, hence me. I love this dog liked I've never loved another pet my entire life! I could never put him through something like that. I don't think they understand medical treatments the way we do, he gives me dirty looks if i have to put drops in his ears for crying out loud, I can't imagine having to subject him to a catscan.
I know people do these treatments for their pets all the time, I just don't think I could.
Anyway, I don't want to go on cause it'll make me cry again. Just please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. I get the tests back tomarro, Friday at the latest. I need it to be something simple. When the vet says I hope it's an infection but prepare yourself for a brain tumor, your heart stops. I' m gonna go hug my baby some more.

What a night!
May. 30th, 2009 09:54 pmThis afternoon I had to dig a small pond the previous owners installed out of the yard. It wasn't really big, just deep. THye had never run any electric out to it and it never had a pump. So imagine a five foot by four foot insulated hole filled with water that had never been treated or filtered, and of course the stink it created, and that's pretty much what it was. I had to take a few breathers just to clear the smell out of my nose. It reminded me of the elephant house at the zoo. Phew! Now, it's just a hole with dirt and some weeds around it that I will fill in and de-weed tomarro. So much for cleaning out the car today.
My coworkers kept asking me what my plans were this weekend, since I had it off and was performing a countdown of sorts since I walked in the building ;) When I told them, yard work, clean out the car, and build shelves in the garage so I can clean it out two weeks from now when I have my next weekend off they all looked at me funny. But they did that when I was measuring out this small stock room we used to keep candy in so when all the stock was out I would have a spacial plan for the stuff I wanted to store in it as well! I know, I'm a <i>little</i> anal about orginization, but it keeps me sane!
How's everyone's weekend going so far, I hope good. I'll keep sending everyone well thoughts and beautiful weather in my mind!

May. 29th, 2009 05:53 pmOMG! He just sighed. Gosh he's cute. My little kitty Spootle is now lying next to him all snuggled up. She likes to sap his heat. SHe's a bit older, at 10, but she only weighs 6lbs. She's such a little thing, she'll forever look like a kitten.
I'll have to post pics of them sometime so everyone can enjoy how adorable they are. ;)
I've had to work then entire thing, even tomorrow morning which stinks, but not as much as tomorrow night would. Work has been supremely frustrating lately. Are numbers are down, duh, but that makes the big boss all "We can do better, you should do better", which causes all the middle bosses to freak out which makes me the normal boss, who has to take all the shit from both sides of the fence, a completely stressed out freakazoid. After my next paycheck I've decided to treat myself to a pedicure and damn the consequences. hehe.
Anywho, how's everyone doing, feeling, watching, wishing, and all that other jazz? Hope you're all great and if you're not know I'm sending you well wishes and thoughts.

My day off..
May. 19th, 2009 06:56 pmSo now that I'm up, and most likely staying that way, I've cancelled the pond removal and most of the house work. I'm still gonna write after dinner and probably do the necessary laundry. i feel like a bum cause I'm still in my jammies and aboutto start grilling on the deck for dinner. There is a ton of people in the soccor field behind my house for practices and I keep thinking I'm being watched, but only cause I'm in my jammies, no bra, and my hair thrown up in a messy bun!
Last night, my sister and I went out for drinks. The manger at the resturant stopped me on the way out and apologised about his un-professionalism before asking me for my name and number. I smiled of course cause that's a real ego boost. I told him I wasn't from the area and was just visiting, cause we were near where my sis lives over two hours away from where I live, but we exchanged e-mails. We'll see. I know nothing except where he works, that he's bold or accepted a bet, and that he has a nice smile. I also still haven't decided if I'm ready to start dating again, so it may be a moot point. But it was nice. My sister teased me all the way back to her apartment and I giggled and laughed and made jokes, but it was still nice.
So, how was everyones weekend?
It was my mom's 53'd b-day so I planted her a garden that she wanted, bought her some shoes she needed, and took the whole fam out to dinner at a resturant she wanted to try. She had a good time and smiled the whole day which is always nice. So all in all the weeks been going well so far. Nothing to huge comming down the pipe at work. Finished the departments year-end reviews and monthly statuses, most took them well. Some are still having a hard time adjusting to me being their supervisor, but only two people are activly hating me so it's not so bad. 2 out of 45 I can handle. I got to hire a new guy for the department, he's young and smart and very enthusiastic. He seems like a good fit so I hope he works out! I have high hopes.
I know this seems redundant...

I know that I have a realllllly old WIP that died off after a computer crash, but the muse is still floating in lala land on that one. I keep pickin away at it in the hopes that it will jump back into action so all hope is not lost.
