I am playing catch up for the last couple of weeks. For some reason it seems that we have been busy but dont ask doing what cuz I have no idea. A couple weeks ago we took the boys bowling which is always fun.

When we got out of bowling there was a good amount of snow and the boys wanted to go out and play. They played into the dark but had fun jumping on the tramp and riding down our own sled hill(ditch)

Eating snow for the first time!

Beckham loves watching his older brothers play!

We put Beckham's toes into the snow. He didn't like that so much:( But look at those cute little footies in the snow.

In the evenings we find ourselves playing lots of games. Some we already had and some we got for Christmas. This one they love. You have to ask questions to figure out what you are. And we all look silly with the hats on.

Saturday before Super Bowl we were invited to a 1st annual Mustache Bash. The boys were supposed to be growing out the mustache and then we went to a party for the final unveiling. Here they all are covered up and then the show began. I wish I would have got closer to some of these great 'staches!

Reed, me with my drawn on stash and Beckham's little stash:)

Reed won most creative with NY on one side for the Giants...

and the Patriots symbol on the other side.

Everyone at the party.

My baby blue eyes

This little guy has been so funny. He is trying to eat everything that we eat and he will shake his head "no". I will have to put a video on later.

Last week was a little dramatic and I am going to tell the whole story just for journaling purposes so warning this might be long.
Last Tuesday my little Deegan fell down the stairs. I heard him land and start crying. I told him not to move and ran down to him. He said that his arm hurt and I grabbed it and could feel right away that it was broken. So I took him to the couch and put his arm on a pillow then called Jen(my sister-in-law) she was to my house in no time to grab the baby and Chandler. She confirmed that she thought it was broken too. And just to double check I called Beth(a good friend and nurse) to ask what she thought. Her words to me if it is not straight and normal then it is probably broken. She also told me to give him some Tylenol before I took Deegan to the ER, which I am very thankful for cuz we sat in the waiting room for about an hour and a half. He fell asleep for a little bit which helped but he cried the rest of the time. It sucked.
On the way I called Reed, who was in Utah, that he better pack up his stuff and head home.

They finally called us back and got all our information and ordered for an x-ray. They also tried getting his shirt off which was his favorite shirt and she said she would have to cut it off. I told them that they better just take the shirt off cuz he will probably cry harder if they have to cut it so they did.
Then we had to wait for about another half hour and they took us back into a room. The doctor, the bone doctor, a nurse and a respetory guy all came in. They were bringing in the cast stuff and setting him up to knock him out before the x-ray was even done. Finally we got an x-ray and yep both bones were broken. So they gave him an IV which sucked cuz he screamed and we had to hold him down but he was ok after it was in. They hooked up all sorts of stuff to monitor his heart, breathing, oxygen level and whatever else. They were going to knock him out to set the bones so they were telling me that sometimes they stop breathing on their own and they have to breath for them, which freaked me out. And he wasn't going to be all the way just partially out. But at the last minute she changed the kind of medicine and put it into the IV. Plus they were worried about him getting sick and throwing up cuz I couldn't remember the last time he ate a lot of food. I mean he had lunch but I don't know what else he was eating when he were at home cuz my boys are always in the pantry.
He was crying that he didn't want medicine but they put it in and within seconds he went limp. His eyes were open the whole time and every once in a while he would make little noises but they told me that he couldn't feel anything. I had to stay out of the way the whole time so the doctor sat by him and talked to him and stroked his hair. I was very thankful that she was there.
I was so nervous and scared at this point and then without warning they snapped his arm back into place and I almost lost it.
But then they were looking at the bones and how well it went back and you couldn't even see where it was broken at. They then started wrapping it and casting it. By the time they got it set and cast he started coming to. Still a little loopy but was waking up and looking at me. The whole thing only lasted about 20 minutes. Then he started talking. He said his arm felt better and wanted some juice. And he told me that I had 4 eyes and 2 mouths but now I was normal. We waited for a little bit longer to make sure that he was all ok and they were ready to discharge us when Dad showed up. Just in time to take us home.

He did so good! He didn't complain about pain at all and he keeps his arm up with this lego thing to help keep the swelling down.
Plus when we go back into the doctor visits the nurses are so impressed that he hold so still all by himself to get x-rays. It has been a week and the swelling is going down and it has been healing really good.

We are very thankful that it wasn't worse and that everything turned out ok. Now I just have to worry about the bills:(((((
I am actually surprised that this was the first time that we have had an emergency but I am sure with 3 boys it probably wont be the last.
Oh! the fun
