Dirty Wombs / Gutter - split LP

Dirty Wombs are from Patra, Greece and they play amazing hardcore sung in English and Greek. After a great demo tape and a split EP they are back with their best recordings to date.

Gutter formed in Athens, Greece with members from Antimob/Jagernaut/Sarabante. They play early US hardcore and this is their first vinyl release after one demo. On their side, you can heard six angry songs with great obliterating vocals.

Maggie was not innocent

It's been a long time since the poster above was published in London and now Margaret Thatcher is finally dead. She died yesterday (8th April 2013), aged 87. R.I.H. you "Iron Lady"...

Back at the day, when she was the Prime Minister of the country, many bands tried to express their feelings for her. Many songs had written and many album covers related to her. Some of them are the following:

Kangrena ‎- Estoc De Pus

Kangrena formed back in 1981 in Barcelona, Spain. Their name, wich is a misspelling of the spanish word "gangrene", was chosen because they wanted something that could be identified with what they were doing. Members of the band mentioned that their influences were Sex Pistols musically and Crass, Exploited lyrically. As for the local scene, they expressed their like for Ultimo Resorte, Decibelios and R.I.P. and their dislike for anything out of Madrid.

Here we have the remastered version of their demo tape released in 1984 and re-issued on vinyl by B-Core Disc.

R.I.P. Clive Burr (1957-2013)

Best known as an Iron Maiden drummer from 1979 to 1982, Clive Burr also played for many bands like Samson, Trust, Alcatrazz and others. He was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, the treatment of which left him deeply in debt. He died in his sleep on 12 March 2013. He was 56.

Στην εποχή του Αντρέ(α)

«Εμπρός Αντρέα, για μια Ελλάδα νέα», ήταν το σύνθημα που διαλαλούσαν οι ψηφοφόροι του ΠΑ.ΣΟ.Κ. στις εκλογές του 1981.  Αυτή η «Ελλάδα νέα» τελικά έκανε την εμφάνισή της και δεν άργησε να αποβάλλει τον σοσιαλιστικό της μανδύα και να κάνει ξεκάθαρο πως η ανοχή θα είναι μηδενική σε κάθε φωνή διαμαρτυρίας και σε κάθε τι διαφορετικό.
Μεταξύ άλλων και κάπου στο 1984, εφευρέθηκαν οι «επιχειρήσεις αρετής», που σκοπό είχαν να εξολοθρεύσουν τον νέο «εσωτερικό εχθρό»: τους πανκς.
