I’m a wife, mother of four darlings, writer and semi-Southern Belle. Okay, I’m just Southern and my great-grandmother was Belle–I think it counts.

I have an undergrad degree in English/Literature and a Masters in Media and Communication from Dallas Seminary. I am originally from beautiful North Georgia, but lived in Dallas, Texas for five years while my husband and I expanded our family, earned graduate degrees simultaneously (and lived to tell about it). It was then we fell in love with the Lone Star State and deeper in love with Tex-Mex.

Important fact: If I could live anywhere in the world it would be England. And I’d have a garden with gnomes and eat clotted cream every day.

I love interesting stationary, England (surprise!), tea with cream and sugar, chocolate cheesecake, central heat and air and people who are kind.

Currently, I live the minimally glamorous life as an ex-pat in New Delhi, India where electricity is never predictable, but mosquitoes and barking street dogs unfortunately are. Here I’m a part of a couple of inspiring projects that I hope to share more about later this year.

And on a side note, I think Isak Dinesen, Hemingway, Twain, Austen, and poetry are wonderful and writing a clever bio is not.
