No, I’m not wading in spare cash.

Nor am I splurging on a well-deserved holiday.

Let’s call this trip of mine a Sabbatical. A journey to seek inner peace. Or to be really frank here, a desperate hope to find purpose in my life – surely I must have taken a wrong path somewhere and ended up in this stagnant bog.

So where to in Southeast Asia?

I’m looking at Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam, Thailand and Cambodia over a span of 9 weeks.

Why not Europe? Or South America?

Because I don’t own wads-loads of cash. Perhaps when I give up my title as the CEO in 5 years’ time.

Why not China?

Yeah, why not? What about next year? (Boyfriend must be rolling his eyes already)

How much are you going to spend on this trip?

Aiming for less than S$3,000. Alternatively you may receive emails begging for wire transfers to remote parts of SEA. I’ll keep you posted.
