This MM team rocks forever!

I love my MM(mulit-media) team! It's been great serving together though the time is short. As we split into new teams, I pray that we will continue to bring forth the spirit of servanthood and serve God and His people to greater heights =)

whoo, crocs! hahah, not mine but my dad's. he just came back with one from china. looks cute lah, but so cannot wear this out lah. im loaning it as bedroom slippers for now, it's comfortable for my poor foot! =)

yayness! i made it through to the finish line of the standard chartered marathon! it was really tough....esp somewhere after the 20km, my right foot hurts real bad. and the pain kept increasing as i endured the pain and walked on and even ran on several occassions. the pain was unbearable and i prayed to God to take my pain away. tried to think of other things to distract and also tried to sing some songs tt was shuffled on my mp3, haha. ohhh and then after think the 28km, i stopped by a toilet to use the tap for refreshment. there, i sat down and rested for awhile. and then this girl came out from the toilet and sat beside me. she began to chat with me and she too, had a severe knee injury. so kinda ended up we continued the race together. so while continuing the race, her knee really got her stopping many times and her pain i could tell was far worst than mine i guess, since she teared a few times. yeah, so i mean since i had pain too, i accompanied her to finish the race tgt. along the way having someone to chat with you is a nice thing too, haha. i made her laugh too (izzy, here comes the sunshine eh, haha!) so yea, i did it! im super happy that i chose not to give up because i really wanted to halfway through. also wanna thank God for this couple who gave me a lift early in the morning. lol, my post abit not in order arh. it was already 4.55 when i left the house to hail a cab. and the race is starting at 5.30am! gosh~ once i was out at the main road, no cabs! i was getting abit worried and then suddenly, a car coming out from the condo wind down the window and the lady asked if i was gg to the marathon. i said yes and she asked me to hop on! wow, thank God! i saved money! haha but the thing was, if i took cab, i would have got off at the race place. and i realise tt i got to walk, depending where the couple parked the car. and wow, they parked quite far away from the race place. it was very hectic once again when i got off the car, i followed them to the race place, and upon reaching, the whole place so big. and guess what, race was starting in 5 mins time and i haven put my baggage! wow, everything was like being in an action film, i ran around, looking for the place and as my church mates called me, i did sounded abit agitated and all, i apologise. and really appreciate the whole bunch of people waiting for me. the race already started and by the time we done our warm-ups and all, we started 30 mins later, haha. but it was okays lah cuz ulitmately the timing will start when we officially start the race =) great race everyone! i believe we made it into the top 10!

It's 1st D already....which means the holidays are coming to an end soon, lol. it also means the standard chartered marathon is due in 6 days' time! and i haven been training for it too. haha, so this week is gonna be intensive running for me. am gonna do night runs from batok to jurong/gombak/timah areas! i think the max i can train till is 10km....but the actual run is 42km! and if i push myself after the 10k mark, i shld be able to cover another 10k, adding to 20k in total. haha, which means the remaining 22k hor, i will need to depend on GOD! haha, yea for this whole race in fact, i need to depend on Him lah because i really think im not gonna make it with the super lack of training for months. enough of the dampening spirit! im just gonna do my best and let God do the rest =)

quick updates on previous week! 

izzy and I went shopping on tuesday and thursday. it was a fruitful day because we managed to settle some presents! haha, i got one of her presents too and she settled mine too lahs! =)

went back to the clinic on wed for a review of the surgery. everything is good! and my stitches will drop on it's own, very good! haha, my threshold for pain is kinda low so yea. mum and i went to shop at town for awhile before heading down to raffles city to meet deb for dinner. after the meal, we went for Robinson's members' day private invitation entry. actually we didnt know it was solely for members until deb said she was not allowed entry. so it was members' day, pretty good arh, got people serve drinks and chocolates somemore, haha. bought a couple of things and the day was wrapped up =)

So tired! was at Presbyterian High School this morning for the MOE learning forum. I thought i was suppose to only collect consent forms during the registration session but later i was asked to usher people. i was also a labour worker for the day, moving heavy boxes around. anyways! i met a few people at the forum. didnt expect to see them but they were invited guests. i saw izzy's favourite lecuturer, whoo hoo! saw geraldine, surya and wai fun too. 4 of them represented rtrc asia. and wai fun even asked if i had gotten any artifacts, lolx. i saw karuna too! chatted with her for quite awhile! still remember those days when she loves to talk about her man utd in class! =)

yesterday morning, i went to help look after the nursery 2 at presbyterian community service centre at bukit batok. lol, the kids are so cute but some are really very naughty lahs, only 3 hours and my voice was almost lost cann! yeaa but i had fun singing some songs with them. been quite awhile since i sang those songs with the actions. after that i came home and napped and later in the evening, went to holland village's Next salon for a haircut with miss ng hj. i thought the service was good lahs. what people wrote on the forum was true, they wash hair there like abt 15 minutes and they help ya message ur forehead, head and even the back of my neck. it was quite relaxing to just lie there and 'enjoy', hahah! but miss ng doesnt think is tt good lor. i think her haircut was ok what but she thinks it isnt -_- anyways i give the salon a 4/5 stars! after that, we went daily scoop for some ice-cream before heading to her house for dinner =)

gonna have KFC for dinner soon! before my op, eating chicken is a delight to me! =D

ohhh i miss taiwan! this was taken back then when we went in May this year. haha, economy crisis now, cannot go on holiday already. but it's okays, march go better! anyways now rainy season in taiwan, not nice to walk around, hahas. supposed to go malaysia in december but it falls on 5 dec so i am not going already =X 

i am actually quite tired. past few days had been waking up early for work at 8.30! and i work till 6 in the evening. office job is really boring....i cant imagine working there for at least a year. working for a short period not so bad lahs. the people there are nice and funny though, hahas. they offer me food to eat too, hahas. i got my own desk and two laptops to work with! sounds cool but i got quite alot of work to do, quite tiring too. suppose to work till this friday but then just now while i was working, i prayed to God and told him I enjoy working here and need to earn more money, so please let me work longer here, prob my boss will ask me to work next week too. hahas and wow, shortly after that my boss really came and ask if im interested to continue next week! it's like an instant answered prayer! thank God =D

not that i really need money but this year Christmas is gonna be one filled with extra lots of gifts! and i need money to buy gifts =D and i need to get something for my good friend's birthday too, for that i need quite some money too. 

looking forward to shron's performance this friday and avenue Q next week! till we meet again =)

haha, looks like my blog has several cobwebs too. been lazy to update also lah, whenever i wanna update abt something, by the time im home im too lazy to do so, lol. tomorrow's a public holiday and since i have nothing to do now, i'll update on what has happened over the past few weeks. 

We had our class chalet on the 14th of october! i thought it was great =) had fun watching the 4d magix and cineblast with the girls in the pictures below! yeaa, 7 of us went in early and played. thought the cineblast ride could be more thrilling because it didnt scare me, hahas. the 4d magix ride was interesting too. i tot i so sua ku never take before these attractions in sentosa but it turns out everyone also never take before, hahas. oh btw, the big construction side seen when you take the sentosa express, i thought that whole piece of land is meant for the IR. in case some of you dont know, it's actually meant for building Universal Studio Singapore! lol, this one i really so pai seh cause the rest knew! the BBQ was quite fun, kudos to Sam and Yi En for standing by the fire the whole night bbq-ing food for all of us, thank you! chatted with several people and got to know each other better.....it was a good time of bonding =)

soon, people had to go and we were left with 10 of us who stayed over. we went to cafe del mar for a drink and then back at the room, we took turns to shower. i was very tired by the time we got back and after showering, i fell asleep. heard the rest were chatting throughout and laughing alot lah, cuz the bed was shaking alot, lol. all in all, i thought the chalet cum bbq was great. more cohort 2 outings! =)

After the chalet, I went to work at princess elizabeth primary for a couple of days. I also fell sick during last weekend and up till now, im still coughing badly! lucky it is only the cough and not flu cuz i hate flu. i had fun at work....asking people shade the otas sheet for primary one pupil data entry. got a couple of grandparents came to help their grandchildren fill up the form. they dont understand english and i had to speak in chinese. i even had to speak a bit of dialect to some, haha. and chinese words! cuz the form need to write the child's chinese name, some parents dont even know how to write their own children's chinese name?? I was able to write for a few, not bad manx, my chinese still eh ok leh! 

after this job, i went to work at a childcare for one day only! lol....dont wanna mention abt it. i did pass over my duty to someone else if not i cannot escape. long story but not cuz i cannot ta han or smth tt's why i quit the job....it's just something else and giving this job to a friend i know would be better for her so tt she can earn the money instead. 

looks like this week is a break for me before i start work next week. this week got doctor appointments, training and outing! hahas, hopefully this week can also have the stay over? i wanna go chomp chomp!
