I received this from a mail and i found it damn funny.

Anyway i feeling very confused lately due to my cca, percussion ensemble... I had been thinking about it. And i think this 10 oct Sinfonia concert will be my last one. After that i would quit maybe "retire" from band and percusision ensemble. The reason? i think maybe i dun have that "fire" to continue.. I dun know.

Gonna have makeover with me maybe buying a new spects, improve my social skills.. Just improve myself bah.

Before i forgot, once again i quite happy with my results (Year 3 - 1st sem). But abit strange, the modules that i disliked i did very well.. Hmm...

I had received a letter from MINDEF for medical checkout thing.. Mine oh mine..

At last, my photocard driving licence came and i today drove my family car!! My family car is Toyota Corona. It is a very old car liao i must say. I could remember my father used to send me to Fuhua sec everyday using that car.

Of course , it was hard for me to adapt to that car. The gas pedal was ultra sensitive but the brake abit sucks. The changing of the gear was abit tough for me at first. First, in the morning, i only drove my family for a ultra short route only. I think i had scared them sia with my driving. Lol. Soon after we bought things from NTUC, we went back to buy the probation plate and soon after that, we went home. Now comes the part, in the evening, we decided to go out to have our dinner. And this time my father want me to drive(i tell him i drive for a small route only).. In the end, i ended driving all the way to area somewhere near the UBI. Not only i drove over 50km/hr and i drove the multi-storey carpark and a small part of highway(TPE).Hahaha.. But I felt still not zai enough sia.Got some jerk here and there.

It was night... after eating our dinner. I had never drove a car in night before. So it was another first for me. So i drove my family back. My father was sitting beside me all the time. While i driving, he became the TP tester (giving directions) and driving instructor (saying i shld let that taxi go first, blah blah..). Those roads out there is rougher than those UBI roads i had been learning to drive for the past 5 mths (due to aggressive drivers)...

Anyway, safety comes first and driving must come with responsibility. Got to improve some areas lah. Then next time when u all sit in my car, u all would feel safe mah and not felt like sitting in a roller coaster ride. Hahahahhahahaa....

8th sept, test route 8, 8 demerit points. They all have the common factor of 8. Hahaha.

And Yes!!! I passed my TP today!! Yeah!!!!

It all began when i had my first driving lesson on 21th april 2006. It has been about 5 months until today and i had spent about $1200 for it. The tester was a malay guy and when he first saw me, he asked this qn (How old are you?) I was like omg. I replied 19 yrs old and he replied i looked like 14 yrs old sia. I was like ......... Anyway not bad lah he. When i was in the circuit, i was a tiny weeny panicked. I was better when i was outside.(Calm down already..lol..) The thing that puzzled me is that i didnt do any u-turn and e-brake. I was like shit die liao, does it mean i fail liao? Soon when he passed me the result, he said i passed. I was really shocked but happy. Before the test, my driving instructor said that i will 90% pass. I was like really meh. Hahaha. Yup passing driving test sometime may need some kind of luck. There's really got some testers really really strict one. My instructor joked if kena by them and u still pass, he will treat me dinner. Lol.

Anyway really had to thank my driving instructor (Mr Pang, a great teacher), his car (Honda city), my father (for money)..

I, 19 yrs old already. No more that magic number 18.. Oh mine getting older each year.. hahaha..

Must need father to guide me along when driving in new situations..

First day of my attachment

I must say... well i did learnt something today. Before coming to the company, i had no idea what is semiconductor is?... but now i knew about it more. As i predicted, the bus will be packed with people in morning as many people would go to work during this time. It was scary sia as i was waiting for bus 268. Packed like sardine sia. Scary!! Tomorrow need to go to bustop early liao.

Overall, Big company is big company, a japanese company is also a japanese company.. The corporate culture is something different i must say and i was attached to process engineering dept. Meet quite a no. of NYP students there for attachment. But they are from different courses. Not bad lah today as i tried to socialise with them. As for my supervisor, not bad lah. However, he has to talk to his supervisor first for my day off due to driving test..

Anyway so far so good. Hope it would get better as the days go by (esp my driving test)

Toyota,Panasonic,Pioneer,Mitsubishi... they all japanese companies..
