Holy Moly!! So this will be bery short and brief. Our activity day dinner went really well and we had a pretty good turn out. I brought my camera to take pictures and totally forgot to take any. Blah..... My dad rode my guts out on our bike this morning. We went 8.50 miles and he had to go slower then his normal pace for me. i couldnt believe how in shape he was at this. And how out of shape i was...... He went another 6 miles this afternoon with the kids. He rocks!!!!! Anyways thats all i can stay awake to blog. Oh but before I go check out my great friends 100th blog here and enter her bloggy give away for a prize. She is an awesome lady, mother and friend. She has accomplished much. And she has great parenting advice. She is an amazing person.

Still Waiting
Well i am trying to pass time still waiting for my parents to get here.. The poor things.. They have been up since 2:00 this morning and they flew into minniapolis and their connecting flight into newark got cancelled because of fog at the airport. So they ended up getting on one at 7:00 pm which was to arrive in nj at 10:36 and then try and catch a train at 11:30 to take them to princeton junction which is close to where I live. So they had to spend 9 hrs hanging out at the airport. However they called and said their plane was delayed another 1/2 hr to hour. They finally called me from the plane saying they finally made it on so they should be getting into the airport somewhere around 11-11:30 and then the trains only run on the hour at night so it probably wont be going until 12 midnight which will put them in about 1:00 AM So they will have been up 24 hrs straight. I feel bad for them because not only will they be so tired but then with the time change being 2 hrs diffrent and my kids having to get up for school in the morning at 6:30, 4:30 their time will be tough on them. We all will be tired and walking zombies tomorrow and my kids will be on a grandma and grandpa high and will have to be peeled off the walls. should make for an interesting day. Plus I have to put on a big daddy and daughter dinner at the church for our activity day achievement girls and their dads. Its going to be rough!!! This will be us tomorrow.

Anyways thought I would blog a little more to help pass the time before I have to go get them at the train station. I still have 2 1/2 hrs...

On Their Way
My parents chose a good week to come. Its only supposed to be in the high 70's this week which is such a relief from the 90's - 100's we were having.. with the humidity I thought i was going to die. You couldnt even stand to go outside.
Well the kids last week of school is finally here.. Seems they have a party every day this week. Should be fun for them but I think its a waste really.. Why not just let them out earlier then just plan partys all week. Owell..I shouldnt complain because by next week I will be ready to send them back again.. lol ........Posted by The Hoyt Family at 9:05 AM 1 comments

Just checking in
Just wanted to check in and throw a quick post out.. This week has been crazy busy. With all the school partys and activitys going on we have just been staying busy.. Steve is finally back sorta for a couple days then is off again on Sat. Since he has been home he has been stressed and busy with trainings here this week so there hasnt been much family time. At least this time when he leaves My mom and dad will be here 2 days later. We are all looking forward to their visit. The kids have been marking off their calendars and this morning austin came up and gave me a big hug and said Oh I'm just so happy and excited that 5 more days and grandma will be here I just cant wait.. It was kinda funny cuz he's not usually like that.
It will be nice just having someone here to talk to other then my kids and someone to help me with all the running from one activity to the next as the last week of school is full of them.
And then 1 week later I will be off to soaking up the sun and laying on the beach sipping pina coladas. Oh I cant wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well yesterday was my 13th wedding anniversary.. It seems weird we have been married that long already. Seems like yesterday at times. And now I look at my kids and see all the things we have done over the years and I start to feel old.. In my mind I am not old enough to have 4 kids with my oldest being only 1 1/2 yrs from being a teenager... aaagggghhhhhh Help!!!
I only pray I make it through the next 13 yrs. Or should I say I pray my kids make it through the next 13 years. Wow how the time has flown. But look at all the great things I have to show for it. 4 Awesome beautiful kids and a wonderful, loving husband. What a great 13 years..
Well its off to a school carnival tonight so until next time..

Snow White and the 4 Dwarfs
Today I felt like Snow White in a fairy tale land. We had a monsoon last night so it seemed anyways. Our back yard was flooding everywhere and we had tornado warnings again. anyways the rain brought out all the creatures of our forrest out here. This morning along my run I saw probably at least 3 dozen of these

Plus probably 4 or 5 other species of birds I didnt know..
And My kids I think equalled 7 dwarfs.. I had Sneezy, grumpy, sleepy, happy, and dopey all this morning I was only missing Doc and Bashful.
Oh my gosh I cant forget my crazy story of yesterday... Yesterday I was a turtle rescuer. I was taking Logan to school and I was about to turn on the road that goes down towards all the schools and all these cars were slamming on their brakes and going out around something in the road. When I got closer to it I saw it was this big turtle. I thought oh no someone is going to hit it so I took logan to school and went back but by the time I got there it was gone. I thought oh probably someone ran over it or it must have made its way to the other side. There is a big river and swampy area on the other side of the road and I figure thats where it was headed. So when I went back to pick up logan after school there it was again in the middle of the road with cars trying to swerve around it to avoid hitting it. So I got logan and went back and thought I would go rescue it but by the time I got back it was gone again. So I flipped back around and drove past one more time and saw him behing the medal viaduct fence thing that runs along the bridge over the river so I pulled off the road and ran back toward the bridge to rescue him. I found him and picked him up and he was alot heavier then I thought he would be. So I have him by the edge of his shell and I'm trying to carry him down this steep bank to go take him down by the river and his legs and arms just start wailing trying to claw at my hands and I dropped him on his back so I had to roll him over and pick him back up and he again starts wailing his arms and legs trying to claw at my hands and the nails on this guy is long so it was really hard trying to keep from getting clawed then he starts hissing at me and starts snapping his head out of his shell trying to bite me. He was so fast with his head he almost got me. So once again I dropped him on his back so I got this stick and rolled him over and I knew I was not going to be able to pick him up again because he was really going bizerk so I tried pushing him down the hill with the stick. It was pretty funny you had to be there.... I didnt get him down as far as I wanted to but I got him at least a ways down the hill from the road so hopefully he wouldnt get hit.... It was a crazy day.. I wish I would have had my camera but this is what he kinda looked like..

Anyways that was my crazy turtle story. On to the next adventure, or fairy tale....
Stay tuned......

Never Enough Time
Wow there just is not enough time in the day to accomplish all that I want to do...... Between all my childrens activitys, School work, house work, Die cutting store trying to keep up on my emails and blogging and trying to become a runner it just feels like all i do is run..... lol.
Well Steve is off to Cali this week and wont be back until monday then comes home for 3 days then leaves for Cali again for another 8 days.. Sheeesh!!!! It is so hard trying to do all this and run everywhere without the help from him. I cant even find the time to squeeze in dinner for my kids inbetween all the appts, So its fast food again or left over pizza which seems to be a regular staple around here lately. This month is going to be just a blur for me. So many things going on and happening. My kids are still in school until the 20th so its still just kinda crazy with all the last few weeks stuff and activitys they plan. Plus trying to do it all as a single mother starts to wear on ya... I think i need to start making me a list of all the things i have to get done just to keep me on some kind of plan and so I can actually accomplish some of them. I get busy starting one then get sidetracked with another and just keep going and find that I havnt completed them..
I came across a page the other day from someone who left me a comment on my blog. It had a real inspiring clip on it about a book this author wrote. I felt as if she was describing my life and how I have felt lately. It sounds very uplifting check it out here.
Anyways Its almost midnight here and i finally got caught up with my orders, my house and made it through my kids schedules so I think Im off to bed so I can start over in a few hours. LOL
Oh ya todays recap.. Austin won his game today so we play one on Fri and the championship game on Sat and then I think we are done.... Yeah... Allie had her piano recital Sunday and did great. She is really becoming a great pianist. She is taking the month of june off because of our busy schedules but will start back up in July. Austin is still moving forward with his karate and i think might be testing again this month for a belt avancement... Jessie is still doing her horse lessons and loving every minute of it. We are thinking of maybe switching it to every other week but not sure how she will handle that. She really looks forward to that day.. Logan is finishing up her last week and a half of preschool. She loves to go.. And I think it has really helped her socially. She wants to be so grown up already and do things like the other kids. And boy is she independent. I'm trying so hard to keep her little since she is our last baby and she is so determined to be older. If she only knew........She has a birthday party to go to tomorrow that she is so excited for. Its really a big birthday state out here. My kids have had 5 party invites in the last month. Everyone here has places around here cater birthdays. So a child will invite like their whole class even though they dont know you. I have so tried to let them go and try to make new friends and feel more comfortable here but I think its starting to break the piggy bank. This state is also a donation and fee state. Iv never had to pay so many fee's for this and that and donations for teachers gifts and stuff like that before. It is crazy....
