I don't have any pictures right now just because I have not downloades them yet. I just want to try to keep up on what has gone on this year. We celebrated the New Year by having Roberts brothers come down. Charles, Annette, John, Holly, Sydney, Brooklyn, and Emily all came to our house and we ate lots of yummy food. The kids went to bed and we all stayed up and played phase 10. We watched the ball drop on the tv and finshed up our game I think aroun 1:30 a.m. We had lots of fun visting.
It has been really cold here so the kids just stay inside and play. They usually are downstairs making a mess with all the toys or watching a movie. They are pretty good about playing with each other with a fight here and there, but not to often.
Brianna and Matthew are playing Jazz basketball again this year. I need to get some pictures up and posted. They have practice every wednesday night at 6 for an hour and their games are on Saturday anywhere between 9 to 5 at night. They both love playing and Matthew has gotten really good at it. Brianna is getting a lot better to, she can actually make a basket with no help. Robert and I take turns taking them to practice and Dyllon likes to go. Dyllon is excited that he will be able to play next year.
Matthew and Brianna both got their report cards this month too. Matthew got 3 A's at 2 B's. We are very proud of him and he is doing really good in school. Brianna gets graded differently since she is still in the 1st grade. They get E's for Excellent, S for Satisfactory, and I think I for improving or something like that. She got all E's and S's. Her teacher says she is a great reader also. According to what the school system says a average 1st grader starts out reading 10 words a minute and is so post to be at least 75 words per minuted by the end of the school year. Brianna started the school year reading 35 words per minute and is already reading 101 words per minute. She LOVES to read. She will go into her room and read to herself for hours. I love that she loves to read.
Robert started working in Rigby this month so he has to wake up earlier because of the commute. He actually has been getting up at 5 and working out and then I get up at 5:45 and get his lunch made and his breakfest cooked. Then I get the kids up at 6:30 to get ready for school. His job is going great and we are so very blessed that he got this job! He still needs to take the hands on test which they say should be in March.
We also started a budget system this year and it is going great. I also have made a few things out of my scrapbook paper that will help us out. I made envelopes and a Recipe holder. I will take pictures and post them. I also have made some vinyl stuff with my silhouette machine. I have just completed a 6 week menu list for our dinners also.
Everyone has been feeling great and we have lucky that we have been able to stay away from all the sickness that has been going around. Knock on wood. I hope all is well with everyone and I will get some pictures up and posted soon.
