Digital Two for Tuesday 21

Want this badge? Cora Harkins generously posts TWO FREE digital images each Tuesday. This week she shared to retro vintage images HERE . I have created my project with Cora's vintage image as part of the Craft Secrets Challenge over on the Paper Craft Planet website. Darlene challenged us to create a project with the theme of "Thankful" for the month of November. Although not a traditional Thanksgiving card, I was happy with how this came together. I recently visited family in Missouri and got to go to some Flea Markets and found some great vintage lace. I combined the Digital Two for Tuesday image with Crafty Secrets "Thanksgiving" and "Kitchen Classic" clear stamp sets. Thanksgiving to me is family, great food and being Thankful for what we have been provided. Supplies Used: Stampin' Up! GC27: Color Challenge

I couldn't resist posting another Thanksgiving creation for the Gingersnap Creations Blog Color Challenge . The challenge colors are: Orange, Green and Brown. The cornucopia image is "So Grateful" GinaK designs. It was colored with Copic markers and sponged for some background color. I have been trying so hard to create individual Thanksgiving cards for my family and friends this year. It has been a personal challenge and has really helped to stretch my creative bounds.

MOJO 111

I visited the Mojo Monday blog and found their fun sketch for this week. I thought it would be fun to play along. I combined it with the Potluck Friday challenge over on the Gina K Stamptv website. I played for the first time with Nestibilities Labels Nine. It really adds a fun shape to the project! The image is "Basket of Happiness" by Gina K. It has been colored with Stampin' Up! Stampin' Pastels. Designer Papers are Basic Grey Lily Kate. Cardstock is also Stampin' Up!

GC28 Thankfulness

I have just recently found the Gingersnap Creations blog and challenges. Their recent Random Redhead Challenge was to create a project with the theme of Thankfulness. Close to Cocoa, Pumpkin Pie and Chocolate Chip Cardstock Making Memories Autumn Splendor designer paper Close to My Heart ribbon, Spellbinders fancy tags and Nestibilities oval Cuttlebug Paisley emboss folder Copic markers and The Robin's Nest dewdrops

A Muse Lounge Challenge #9

This is for the October challenge over on the A Muse Lounge. Jennie challenged us to create something from the word "October". I'm trying to get a head start on my Thanksgiving cards for family and friends this year. However, this little card reminds of the U-Pick pumpkin patch in the town where I grew up. It was always fun each October to drive by and see all of the pumpkins that the farm had available. I started this card by cutting the cardstock to 8 1/2 by 4 1/4 then cut the oval with Nestibilities scallop oval. The border oval was cut from Stampin' Up Pumpkin pie cardstock with two Nestibilities oval die cuts. The A Muse images were stamped with Adirondack Espresso ink. Image used were: Pumpkin wagon, Pumpkin patch and Tractor. All images were colored with Copic markers and A Muse ribbon was added for a final detail.

Just us Girls Challenge

This is for this week's paper piecing challenge over on the Just Us Girls blog. I've used a Tim Holtz image and paper pieced the dress, added some buttons and embroidery floss. I picked up the lingerie ribbon this summer at a local craft store. Thanks for visiting!
