Blizzard of 2010 Texas Style

We do not get snow often, but this year has been unusually pleasant. These pictures represent a small portion of our "blizzard" in 2010. In early February, we had about 10.5" of the white stuff. All of the kids and grandkids made their own snow men. It happened at the perfect time for them as they got out of school all day Friday to help make for a long weekend. Enjoy the pictures.

Image Not a good day for a swim. Notice the new bird feeder. The snow stuck to everything.

Visiting Family in Arkansas

The day after Christmas, we drove to Arkansas to visit
Stan's Mom. It was a little rough driving between
Muskogee, OK and the turnpike that takes us in to Siloam...
a lot of ice on the road and slow going. Luckily, the rest of
the roads were clear of snow and ice and we arrived safely.

His smile just melts our hearts.

The gift of our Lord Jesus Christ,
sent to earth to die for our sins, and make
possible eternal life for all who trust in Him!

Christmas 2009

Image
This Christmas was spent with our three children and their families. Everyone had their special time with just their family at home and then everyone headed for our home for Christmas lunch, gift exchange and Mexican Train Dominoes. A great addition was the snow. Who doesn't love a white Christmas?!

Exciting Events

It has been an exciting beginning to the Fall season around the Link household. The boys are involved in soccer and football. The girls have been playing soccer, dancing, and working out in gymnastics. Matt and Katy are celebrating one great year of marriage this weekend with a trip to San Antonio.

To top everything off, Ethan Bryan LeBlanc was born 10-7-2009 at 9:20 PM. He weighed in at 6 lbs and 11 ozs and was about 20 inches long.

Here are some pictures for you all to enjoy. Life is great.
