I love having Christmas morning with just me and Aaron, we have a lot of fun! This year Aaron gave me and IPOD which I love! And I gave him an X Box 360 (thank to Ash for finding me such a great price!) Aaron was so surprised, he didn't even see it coming, I loved it! He loves it too! It was so much fun to see him, he really was like a little boy on Christmas morning! We also got to talk to McKie for about a minute, it was good to talk to him even though we didn't have much time, we almost missed him so we were happy to have any time to talk! For Breakfast we had Christmas Morning Rolls (that's what we call them because that's the only time we have them, I really don't even know what they are called but they are good!) We usually have these at my Mom's, but this year we decided to do lunch instead, so I made them at home! The picture is kind of blurry, but it was the only one I had! This first picture is me acting surprised when I saw all the presents! We got one of Aaron too but it was way to freaky to put on the blog, I will have to ask him first!
This year we had Christmas Eve at my parents house. It was a lot of fun, every one was able to be there so that was the best part! The food was wonderful as always, I was so excited to see Mandy, Dusty and Zoey who we haven't seen for about 6 months! We had dinner, opened PJ's, did the Nativity, sang songs and read the night before Christmas. I have so many pictures so I will try to cut back the best I can, but I'm not very good at that so we'll see, here are some pictures!
The bubble gum blowing contest started in Camille's family and she brought it into the Delahunty Family, it can get messy, but it's fun! I have so many pictures, but her is just a few. Nate won, he got a little snow man filled with candy that Whitney made for the trophy.
Aaron's family does this thing called snow balls, you get a scoop of ice cream in a little bowl with a candle in it, you light the candle and try to keep the flame alive the longest! Mine burned out pretty quick this year (there is a picture of my snow ball with no flame), last year I was one of the last ones! This year it came down to Aaron and Andy, Andy won by one minute! He took home the snow ball trophy for the year which is a little snow man.
We all exchanged gifts, Ryan and Whitney gave us some candy cane kisses, yahtzee, and a calender, Thanks guys! Alan and Linda gave all the grand kids a DVD and treats to go along with it, Linda said that for those of us that do not have kids yet get a special treat to make us have kids! It was candy cane oreo's (well have to see if they work!) I thought it was pretty funny! I also have a picture of Linda with the purse that I made for her.The kids listening to Grandma talk about the importance of Christmas before they
tear into their presents.Me and Aaron with our special baby making cookies!
Alan and Linda have been doing the 12 days of food storage for us, we had loved it, it is exciting to see what is coming everyday and it is all very useful! So to go along with that Linda gave us all aprons to prepare all that food, she made the girls aprons and bought the boys. The girls ones are so cute we just love them! Thanks Linda! The boys were making fun of theirs, that it looks like they work at Harmon's! They are planing to put their kids hand prints on them!
Aaron and I met Jan.6 2005 at Trolley Square Country Dancing!!! I asked him to dance, and we ended up dancing all night! Soon after that we were inseparable. Aaron asked me to marry him on the 4th of July 2005 on the beach of Bearlake during the sunrise and of coarse I said yes! We were married in the Salt Lake Temple November 11, 2005. We have a home in Saratoga Springs. I worked as an X-ray tech but am now a stay at home Mom and I love it! Aaron is working as a Civil Engineer. Our little girl Cassidy was born Sept. 3, 2009. Then Dash joined our family on March 4, 2013! We love them so much! And are so blessed to have them in our family!
