Potty Trained!!

Kylee started asking for big girl panties. She was run away after going potty in the toilet and just pull her pants back up. We went several nights waking up with a dry diaper and she refused to wear a diaper even at night. It has been almost two weeks without having a diaper at night and she has done great. She will wake up in the night hollering, "MOMMM! POTTY!" and we go running. She will have a few accidents here and there that she starts to go, but stops until we can get to the bathroom.
It does help that she has been pooping since she was 5 months. So the biggest thing was just being able to tell us when she had to go.

Yes we are potty trained, but we can't get ride of the bink willingly so we will have to cut it off cold turkey.

Yes, Yes I know, it has been a long time since I have posted. But it just doesn't seem like I can sit and play on the computer very often, especially with my big helper. There is always another load of laundry to fold or dishes to put away.

We (mostly my mom) have been working on Halloween costumes we have used "The Nap Time" to work on getting those complete. It is so much fun to create something from scratch and the enjoyment of spending the time with my mom.

I know a lot of things have happened that I wanted to post but when I do get the time to sit down I forget them all.

Our latest project... On Saturday Ty built and placed a counter top to go in my sewing room to give me more space to spread all my "stuff" out. We got most of it done in the nap time, but when Kylee woke up she wanted to help too. I am so excited to start finding a permanent home for my machines. Hopefully I will be able to keep it more organized and cleaned up, or at least that is my goal.

Megan, Ty's sister came down a couple weekends ago. We had her take some pictures of us and Kylee. There are a lot of different cute shots she has gotten. You can look at her website at www.alluringessencephotography.com We were limited on our time but we got some cute ones.

There were a few great pictures of Kylee and me, but Ty was being a goof. But we got quite a few. Thanks Megan and Lisa!

Lagoon

This past weekend we went to South Ogden to visit my brother and sister-in-law for Kadin's birthday. He wanted the whole family to go to Lagoon with him. Lisa ended up not feeling well so her and dad were not able to come with us. My mom went as the baby sitter. (She doesn't like getting sick on the rides)

We spend the first part of the day at Lagoon A Beach, which I had never been to before. Ty had to steal back our tube from a kid who tried to claim it was his. We got my mom to go on a few tube rides with us. She said, "That wasn't too bad."

We packed a lunch and all met out at the car to eat instead of having to buy every meal. Which worked out really well.

The rest of the day we enjoyed the all the roller coasters with a slight sprinkle off and on. We were able to take Kylee on a few rides. She was such a good girl to ride around in the stroller and wait for us to get off the rides. She would just sit back and put her feet up and enjoy the people watching.

I did the Sky Coaster this year. I have always wanted to but chickened out. But this year I was ready. It was so much fun. We laughed at Tyrell laughing and screaming more than anything else.

Sunday we took a quick ride up to Logan to see Matt, Jackie, Trevor, Megan and Grandpa Kevin. We didn't get to do much but it was fun to spend a little bit of time with them.

But the ride home seems like it gets longer. If I could afford a plane I would become a pilot, and to Lisa's request make the seats comfortable to sleep in.

Overall we had a great time together especially listening to Ty toy-- GPS everywhere we went. He is just like a little kid and makes the best of it.

I want him to know how much I appreciate him and all he does for Kylee and me.

12 Month Stats

Kylee had her 12 month check up and shots. She was so tough! "Tough Chick!"

~29 inches tall-- She is in the 60%
~20.4 lbs-- She is in the 40%
Tall and skinny.
~4 teeth on top and 4 teeth on bottom
~Enough hair that we can put it in a small pony tail on top of her head.

She has grown up so much and learning so fast. My sister has been teaching her Sign Language, and Kylee does so well.
She knows:
-Please
-Thank you
-Apple
-Candy
-Dog
But her favorite this week is ... Chicken.
We are working on: More, Shoes, (more shoes!!! Just for her dad), cereal, pretzel, eat....

It is such an accomplishment to see that they have learned something that you have taught them and they understand at such a yonge age.
A lot of kids learn their first animal sounds or actions of a dog or a cat.
~Kylee sticks her tongue out like a Snake
~She bocks like a chicken
~Opens and closes her mouth for a fish
~And chomps when we say "I'm a Piranha"

She will stick her Binkis in the cup holder of her car seat or in the stroller and stick her arms out the side wanting to say... "Where is it? I don't know" Then she will hurry and grab it.

Her favorite songs to sing with are:
~5 Monkeys jumping on the beg
~5 Monkeys swinging in the tree
~5 Little Ducks went out to play
~Patty Cake
~Itsy Bitsty Spider

We have moved to yet the NEXT stages of baby proofing. Kylee is a climber, and she is fast too. She keeps us on our toes running constantly.
But that cute little smile she has just melts your heart, and if the little toothy smile doesn't get you then her beautiful brown eyes will.

We love you Kylee.

Sorry so slow. This month has been kind of crazy, but a lot a exciting things have happened.

Kylee is 1! on July 18th at 1:29 am.

We came back from Draper after being up to my cousin's wedding. When we got home Tyrell had EVERYTHING ready. The house was cleaned, dinner was ready, and he had a cake baked and decorated all for Kylee's Birthday. After we ate dinner we put Kylee on the table to give her, her birthday cake. (We have taught her to blow kisses, but she doesn't take her hand down after she kisses.) That is how she tried to blow out her candle. She didn't dig too deep into her cake just the icing.

Then on Tuesday we had a Lady Bug Swimming party. We invited a few cousins and friends to with us. Kylee just loves the water and had so much fun with her friends being there too. My mom, and Lisa helped me make the cake and cupcakes after I had a "slight" StREsS Moment! The icing would not come out the color I wanted and my lady bugs look psycho. I found little lady bug skirts and bug catchers to give the kids with red and white polka dot balloons. When Kylee opened presents she wanted to play with each one. It was hard to not let her, but everyone was waiting for us to open their present. She got so many cute clothes and fun new toys. She tried playing with them all.

After all the friends left i gave her a bath and she zonked. She was so tired. Its hard work being the center of attention and the Party Girl.
We just stayed up there and bbq hamburgers and hot dogs.

Thanks to everyone that was able to come, and thanks for the presents.
