Easter at Great-Grandma Andersen's house and it started to rain!
I was employed by the college to be their rehearsal pianist and play the harp on the keyboard in the pit. It was a lot of work but everyone did so well!!!

Olivia was chosen as child of the week at the daycare. She was asked to bring photos about her. It stayed up for two weeks.
This charming young fellow is Mark Shipley, a very, very talented violist. He and I did his Senior Recital featuring a Bach suite, on solo viola, and the Rebecca Clarke Viola Sonata. We were both very pleased and his teacher was very pleased as well.

One of the best things about being married to Steve is we both LOVE MOVIES!! For Valentine's we got each other Skyfall. It was too funny when we both went, "What?! I was going to get you that!" Now we own one copy of Skyfall and John Carter, which I enjoyed very much!
Hey, howdy, hey she's on a yo-yo!
I became good friends with the Idaho Falls Symphony Conductor, Thomas Heuser. Here are my mom and I at their Valentine's Concert, Valentine's on Broadway. It was so great! Even ended the night with Phantom!
Some artwork by Olivia, not her hair! The paper.

When I saw this poster I about died. The music department is hosting a travel study to music cities in Europe in August. I decided right then and there that I'm going. We'll visit Rome, Venice, Vienna, Saltzburg, Munich, Paris and sosooooo much more! I CANNOT WAIT!!!!!!!

We spent some time in Island Park. The snow was taller than Taylor!
This girl wanted a guitar for Christmas and she grabber her shades and asked me to take her picture.
Drama. Queen.
This may be more comfortable?....
I dyed my hair a really dark brown with a lot more red. It looked great! This kid lost his first tooth....
Then proceeded to lose the one next to it! Two in 24 hours!
I was able to have a really neat experience before Christmas. I was asked to play harpsichord at the Idaho Falls Symphony's Christmas Concert. Mr. Heuser called me in September asking if I was available and I was! I did give up going to the Tabernacle Choir's Christmas Concert with Alfie Boe, whom I've played for before, but this was a choice experience. I learned so much and it's not everyday you get to pull out the harpsichord!! I played three pieces with the chamber. It was a complete joy!
On stage!
Ain't that a great harpsichord! It's longest strings are 16'. I had to think like an organist to couple it!Olivia was chosen to be Mary in the ward's Christmas Story at the ward party. She's dang cute! And as per usual, Steve, ahem, I mean, Santa, made an appearance. This is a priceless photo of Olivia and Santa!
November
Admiring the pumpkins at Albertson's and we had dinner at Olive Garden with my Family!
October
Here we are at the Ward party with our Bishop, his wife, and his daughter. They were all Toy Story Characters! It was great!
I was Agent Carter and I found my Captain America!
Steve will probably, he will never, let me live down him being Mario. But Taylor was a great Luigi. And, of course, Minnie Mouse.
My cousin invented the wick less candle company, Scentsy. Her father, my uncle Joe Ahlstrom, now owns it. I went to switch the wax I found someone taking a dip in it. Funeral services passed him by...
Can't live down that 'cheese' face!! She eats lettuce, and a lot of it.
September
Olivia started preschool on campus again and here she is with Webby, the classroom tarantula...
Always got to stay in shape with one armed push-ups
Captain Ameri-Bia and her amazing hair!
One of the most precious pictures he's ever drawn!

When I was on Dance Alliance in 2005, I met a girl from Australia. She has now made it back to the states and spent a week with us before going to a friend's wedding in Idaho Falls. We even went dancing! It was so great to see her. We even made Aussie Cheesecake and Lamb Stew! I Love You, Michelle!!1
We went to see the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at the new BYU-Idaho Center. It was the first time Michelle had seen them in concert! I've been lucky to see them many times!
.
Always making something in the kitchen!
My brother served his mission in the Philippines and this is one of many things he brought back, a hat made from coconut! It was sweet! haha!
End of August
We have been introduced the the Piano Guys! A group of 5 LDS dads from St. George who fuse classical and modern music using piano and cello. Here is Taylor playing the cello in their hit "Cello Wars" (based off of Star Wars).
Taylor has begun KINDERGARTEN!!! We are so proud of him. I didn't even cry! He loves it so much and is learning so fast!
Some people think kids can't understand doctrines very well. Taylor drew the temple and Angel Moroni on the top. He said, "I'm going there someday."
Cousin fun! These are my only brother's kids! They live in Idaho Falls now!
I took this picture to enter a contest to win a dress. Needless to say I lost to an army family. Oh, well. I got lots of votes!
Hopefully I can stay a little more up to date. We were so busy and Steve is finishing school. We're moving apartments (after 8 years) and it will be a great change. We can then stay there when he's done! Enjoy your summer! I can't wait for more sun and fun times!
We out!

After the concert!
