My "Baby" is Not a Baby Anymore

When we first moved to California I knew I would need to find a preschool for my "baby," but where? When you love your child so much, it's a little scary to entrust someone else with the nurturing of your child. Will he be safe? Will he feel comfortable there? Will he make friends? Will he still love me and not feel I'm abandoning him? Yes, Yes and a thousand times YES! PCOM was all of that and more. Very grateful to that friend from church that told us about the school. Sam loved his time there. He loved all of his teachers.

Graduation Day with all his little buddies!

Cowboy Day for the Red

I'm doing some catch up time on the blog while I'm forced to stay home with a cold.  Sam's preschool had a day called Home on the Range.  The kids all dressed up in their cowboy/cowgirl attire as they had fun reenactments of living life on the Western Front.  Panning for gold on the playground, singing Western Songs, telling stories and having a cowboy meal.

I got to help out on their Western day and while I was in Sam's class room, he showed me one of the many pet silkworms they had I their classroom.

Disneyland With Tyler

One of Sam's best buddies is a friend named Tyler from preschool.  They've been friends for 2 years and just love each other.  Sam had a great time with him at Disneyland.

Daddy Visits PCOM

Sam asked his teacher if his daddy could come to his preschool when they were learning about the workers in our community and the kids loved it.  I'm pretty sure Sam loved it too.

Sam all dressed up in daddy's gear, after that almost every little boy wanted to as well.

A Little Daddy Time

After coming home from Utah, Danno took a little time off to spend with us.  We visited the Aquarium of the Pacific and also saw an Angels game.

Spring Break = Utah

It was Spring Break for Sam's school, so we headed for some family time in Utah.
Grandma Stromberg picked us up from the airport and during our stay she showed Sam a good time. We did our traditional feeding the ducks/pigeons/geese at Sugar House Park. Sam gets a kick from it every time.

Image
We went to lunch with Aunt Susan and then Grandma took us to Susan's new house.  Aunt Susan even let Sam decorate her windows for Easter. But I think what he liked the best was playing with her doggy Alice.

While staying at Stromberg's we woke up to find this layer of white outside!  Sam was determined to touch this mysterious white fluff.
Image
After a fun time with Grandma and Grandpa Stromberg, we headed down to what Sam called "Cousin Land!"  He got crazy with those cousins. I love their automatic bond with each other.
