Dexter the Ham

Dexter is a ham.  He loves to flirt.  He loves girls.  He loves attention.
He likes his quiet time too.  He doesn't play with people as much as he plays next to others.  He loves lining things up and keeping things in a very neat order.
But boy has he mastered the art of flashing his adorable smile to get what he wants.
ALL THE TIME!

Mirror Lake - a trip to the magical land.

We took a magical trip to Mirror Lake waterfalls last week.  We went with our friends the Beecroft's.  And it was just that Magical.  The water was cold.  Perfect for my legs.  Perfect to numb away the pain I feel daily.  The boys had fun, especially Max.  He brought all his sharks and played in the water with them for almost 2 hours.  Dexter was not a huge fan, and stayed close to Sharon the entire time.  I am so glad we traveled the 90 minutes.  (Plus we passed the Beaver Nudist Colony, which was a highlight...ha!)

Current Stats (May 2016)

I need to be better about this family blog.
But spaceshipmax.blogspot.com has taken over and also documents our life pretty well so I don't feel too bad.

One important piece of information is that Dexter is growing.  Happy times in our house!  Medication is working.  (When it is the right amount)

Dexter:  28.5 pounds, 34.5 inches (5% for both) (2 years and 10 months) *Still tiny, but growing*
Dexter is also finally completely weaned from nursing.  He doesn't even ask anymore.  It took since Christmas to completely wean him.  I never thought I would nurse him for so long.  But my gut kept telling me not to stop, so I didn't.  And the neurologist told me that nursing most likely helped him calm his seizures and relax him when he had a really bad one.  So I am glad I nursed that long.  But, selfishly, I was very ready to stop.

Max:  50 pounds, 50 inches (99% for both) (4 years and 11 months)
I can't believe I have an almost 5 year old.
He is going to be in kindergarten.  Where did the time go?
So parts felt VERY long but others flew by.

Thanksgiving 2015

We spent Thanksgiving relaxing and eating at Will's younger sister's house.  Aunt Katie has GREAT toys and the boys had fun playing ALL day with new toys and cousins.  We are really lucky family lives so close!
