Time to come out of the woodwork once again as the derangement of US American political life nears it’s feverish climax…

THERE IS NO good future anymore. As the United States rapidly approaches the end of “democracy,” on the cusp of electing Donald Trump its first Dictator for Life, it seems all too fitting that the electoral college, enshrined as it is in one of the least democratic documents one could venture to draw up, the United States Constitution, will be the end of the Democratic Party’s self-styled valiant mission to “save democracy”: a MacGuffin for the end of days.

The Wednesday morning quarterbacks will scape the goats, be it the Green Party, or voter apathy, or foreign influencers, never stopping to consider whether it could have been the overtly naked Fascism, or the wanton genocidal violence, being every bit as willfully myopic as the bloodthirsty Israelis their candidates represent. If the human race is around long enough to write history books about all of… [gestures wildly] this… they’ll say it was Democrats and the Biden administration that drove the last stake into the already lifeless body of International Law and the rules of war, who normalized genocide, and brought the most heinous dehumanizing rhetoric into acceptable use.

The world is on fire! People everywhere are begging their so-called leaders to do something, anything, to try and mitigate the already irreversible damage to, uhh… [checks notes] the planet’s means for sustaining life? [Checks notes again] …is this right? Cause it just seems like going all-in on a deranged genocidal war for, let’s face it, control of Middle East oil reserves, seems for lack of a better phrase, criminally insane. Goodness save the Palestinian people, whose suffering anyone with an ounce of humanity endures alongside them.

It seems the pressures of environmental calamity on economic and political systems has forced us to an inflection point, a brink if you will. Apparently the powers that be, we know who they are, have decided on Fascism: naked power and all out class war.

Make no mistake the 99 percent of us are in this together like it or not. It’s the capital class versus the working class. One should try never to delude oneself about which class one belongs to: if you have to work, if you couldn’t quit your job right this minute and have the means to provide for all of your needs going forward, guess what… We are all in the crosshairs now.

Where are all my Georgia Guidestones conspiracy theorists at these days? Doesn’t it seem like there are schemes afoot, right now, to cull the population? Does it not seem like the ownership class has decided that “overpopulation” is the culprit for their own excesses? Does it not seem like the genocide in Gaza, and now the West Bank, and Lebanon will spread across the entire Middle east Manifest Destiny style, crushing all humanity in its path under the wheels of American militarism? Freed of the restraints of international humanitarian law, would it surprise you at all to see the next US administration employing similarly homicidal tactics under the guise of “securing the border” or even “clearing out homeless encampments”? This is the world we inhabit now.

As if the continued dispossession of even Palestinians’ most basic human rights to self determination, and safety, and those of every other human forced to live under the heel of war, Apartheid and genocide for the economic and political benefit of a minute overclass of death dealers who somehow manages to exert total control over all institutions of power wasn’t enough, these merchants of death are coming for each and every one of our bodily autonomy.

In the pursuit of power, there is shamefully little resistance to the idea that people’s bodies are not their own! One man’s “leave it up to the states to decide,” on women’s essential right to not just choose whether to have an abortion, but to receive life saving healthcare, is another woman’s “follow the law,” when it comes to allowing(!) people to choose their gender which has also, I’d point out, been shown to be life saving healthcare. I mean come on, people, this is real basic stuff! But such are the workings of the Fascist mind.

It’s far too late now, but this election should have been about decolonization, reparations, and you know, preserving the planet’s biosphere! Vote Green, I guess. Then, put your head between your legs and kiss your ass goodbye. We are so fucked.
