Preschool Graduation
Well it's official, my oldest baby is headed off to kindergarten. I have so many mixed emotions about this. Part of me is ready and knows that it will be nice to have a break from the teasing that goes on between him and Talan and the other part of me wants to bawl knowing that this journey is the end of him being home with me. I love my little Dax man and he has become my best little buddy being home with me the last six years. He of course can't wait! He can't wait to meet new friends and to feel like a big kid. It also helps that his cute little "girlfriend" next door is going to be in his class. :) Anyways, he had his preschool graduation last week and yes, I was the dorky mom that got choked up. His cute teacher put on quite the production for these kids and I've gotta say, I'm really going to miss Ms. Helen.

Giving this a second chance!
So my sister was telling me the other day that since my last post was of Tytans birth, it looks like adding the third child has killed me off. If were being honest though, it has just about has. :) Don't get me wrong, I love my life and I wouldn't change a thing but three children has been my limit for now.
So much has happened since Tytan was born and there's no way I could catch up which is why I am just going to start with a clean slate from this day on. However, here are a few of the big things that has has happened to us in the last year:
- Nate, myself and Tytan went to Cancun in June of 2010.
- In November of 2010 we went to Disneyland and on a 5 day cruise to Mexico. It will be one of my favorite family vacations ever!
- We sold our house in Farr West in December of 2010 and moved to a rental in North Ogden where we lived for four months.
- Tytan turned one on February 16th. Fastest year ever!
- Talan had a scary occurrence (3) of UTI's in February and March and had to have some testing done at Primary Children's. We found out he has reflux of his right ureter and has to be on an antibiotic for a year.
- We purchased a new home in Pleasant View and moved in April of 2011.
So that's our year in a nutshell! I know that people aren't staying up with blogs these days but I need to try and post once a week so that we have this to look back on some day. So basically I'm doing this for us now but if anyone is still checking in, at least you can stay updated with the Sumkos now!

Tytan Hawk Sumko
He is here!! Arrived last night, 8 lbs 3 oz. and 20 inches long! The delivery was perfect, he's perfect and I'm feeling great! So far, we think he looks like Dax but pulls faces like Talan. I can't believe we have two babies (YIKES) but we are loving every minute of it. And hallelujah, I'm not pregnant anymore! Here are some pics of the cutie!

Four months in a nutshell.......yeah right!!!
So I know, I suck at blogging!! I honestly am so behind, I haven't even wanted to touch it.....too overwhelming!! So, mostly for the sake of people knowing were still alive and also for the memories, here we go!!
Sumko Cruise
We went on another cruise with Nate's family the end of April. Everything was great until we got to Mexico and they made the announcement that we would not be getting off the boat due to the swine flu! Nice!!!! So we floated around for five days, they let us get off in San Francisco for one rainy, cold day and that was it!! People were so mad and I probably would have too if we hadn't been on that same cruise one year ago. It was so fun to be with Nate's whole family (minus Dan & Britt), that never gets to happen. We saw an old man die right in front of us of a heart attack which was awful and then a three year old almost drown which was even worse!! It was my birthday which was kinda weird but still fun. Anyway, here are some pics from that!!

So that's it!!! Not a lot of pics but that's what happens when you don't get off the boat! Oh well, we didn't care. We still had fun and it was so nice to all be together!
Daxton's Sports
So Dax got to play Soccer and T-ball this spring/summer! It was so much fun, I feel like I have been waiting for this day since he was born. He had fun but I can't wait for him to get a little older, those will be the fun activity days!! And I know I'm his mom and will think he's good at everything he does but he really is. He has always been athletic and picks up on things quickly.
Talans 1st Birthday
I can't believe my baby is one!! That was the fastest year ever. I hate how fast these kiddos grow up. Talan is such a sweetie and has been from the minute he was born. We love having him in our home and even though Dax antagonizes him, they are little buds. We had a great day on his bday. We started out opening presents, then went to breakfast. Then we went to the pool with his cousins and friends. We then came home and let him dive into his cake and then it was off to the drive-in!
We woke him up by singing Happy Birthday to him! He loved it!!
He was not fond of opening presents but Dax had no problem doing it for him!

Daxtons 4th Birthday
Then came Daxtons bday! June is a crazy month for us. Nates bday is in June as well so that month is one big party! We also had a great day on Daxtons bday. We started off the morning by having his scavenger hunt! Then took him to breakfast. And where else would we go on his bday besides the Frontrunner?? So we went down with his cousins who he adores and they ran through the fountains at the Gateway. We grabbed some dinner at Winger's (his favorite because of the popcorn - goofball) and then went back to the house for cake and icecream. My neighbor made the most amazing train cake for him and wouldn't you know that my camera deleted half of his bday pics! Bummer!!! He got some fireworks for his bday so we lit them off when it got dark!
He had been counting down to this day since Christmas I swear!

Hawker Family Reunion
This is the most recent! This weekend we went up to Oakley Idaho to our Hawker family reunion. We had a blast!! It was only Hawker first aunts/uncles and cousins which hasn't happened forever. My dads family is the best, and we laughed our heads off. Daxton off course did not stop for one second, too much to do!

So me, my mom and my sister were able to go to Wicked!! It was AMAZING! I have waited so long to see it and it was worth the wait. Plus, girls night out is always fun!

Okay.........there it is! Phew!!!! That was crazy, let's hope I never get that behind again. Now, if you made it to the end of this post then you get to find out that I'M PREGNANT!!! That's right, my baby is one and another is on it's way. It was a surprise but a good one and I already know how crazy my life is going to be so no need to tell me! Anyway, my due date is February 21st!!
