The last month or so of our lives...

Summer had field day - school's almost out! This was her intern for half of the year.

We took a long weekend to go to the beach house in Newport Beach - it was so awesome!!! Spent some time with Jacob and Ashley (cousins). It was nice to have the house to ourselves and just go out on the (un-crowded) beach. I think we could just live there...

Hey everyone - just showing you guys what we look like now. We are blessed to appear young still... people still confuse me for being a teenager.

Okay this was pretty cool - there was a charity event thrown by a rich brasilian family in Paradise Valley - near to where we live. So we got decked out in "Brasil" shirts and enjoyed some feijoada - my favorite food that I haven't had since I lived in Brasil. This is our friend Marcelo who is Brasilian, he is a party animal - lot's of fun to be around. Below are some other random people we went with that Marcelo knows - they are american....

Wow so we haven't blogged in awhile. Well things are starting to warm up again here so we're starting to plan some trips and we should have some good pictures to show. In the meantime Summer was playing kickball with her 3rd graders and suffered a finger injury. One of her students who is a really good athlete kicked the ball and it actually broke her finger!

She went to the doctor and got a splint for it... it was swelling up pretty bad. Kind of hard to believe that this is the first broken bone she or I have ever had!

Pleasant Lake

Greetings from the land of eternal summer - :) We had a great time going boating for the first time in our marriage of 4 years at Lake Pleasant, a popular place here in Phoenix. Enjoy the pics. By the way Summer and I both tried to wakeboard - it was rather unsuccessful - I went home quite bruised with nothing to show for it...

Arizona is great we're loving our house. It's finally the time of year where you can go outside for the day and not feel like you're in a furnace. We'll have some fun pictures of what we did this weekend soon...
