Cherating!

Craving: Baked Crabs

Just got back from church retreat last night. Cherating was a really nice place to be and I would love to go back there again some day. Just a really nice place to chill and relax, especially with so many friends around. Got to know some people I didn't really know before as well as spend great time in fellowship with friends. The beach was great (except for the jellyfish). I can't remember the last time I went to the beach and really swam in it. Kites, turtles, beach volleyball, beach to swimming pool to beach and back, all in good fun. I could just write so much about it, but that would just take too long and make an essay out of this post. Suffice to say I enjoyed myself. Even got to squeeze in a game of Settler of Catan while we were there.

This being a church retreat I feel like I need to mention some other stuff too. After all we were there to learn as well right? Hehe...The speaker as alright, speaking on our camp theme of "Transformed to Make a Difference". Content and the points he made were great, my only grievience was that the delivery was very monotonous. Hard a hard time following the messages all the way through. Discussions were lively though, especially in my group. Was interesting to listen to the opinions and views of people I don't usually do bible study with.

Kudos to Sylvia and her fun night theme as well. It was a fun time and I think all groups enjoyed themselves. Really brought the groups together, young and all. I'm just a little peeved that my group could guess the words but couldn't sing this line from a song

"And hands that flung stars into space,
To cruel nails surrendered."

Hehe. Just kidding, you all did great! :P

Oh well enough words...now for some pictures!
