NOVEMBER

Phin started November off with a Stake Activity.  They played fugitive and then met at the Stake Center to play games.

He loved helping me hang up Christmas lights and blow out the rain gutters.

He also went on a camp-out with the Young Men...I have no idea what they are doing in this photo.

Phin has enjoyed playing basketball this season.

Except for that one time that he got elbowed and split his lip open...  I thought he might need stitches but he didn't.  He was just pretty swollen for a few days.

Millie absolutely loved playing basketball this season.  She gained a lot of confidence and made quite a few baskets.

I noticed that our sweet Silas was turning into a bit of a shark.  He hadn't lost any baby teeth and his bottom two teeth were growing in behind his baby teeth.  So we made an appointment with our dentist to have his bottom two baby teeth pulled.  He was an absolute trooper.

In this photo you can see that the roots really weren't being absorbed by the new teeth.

I helped organize a service project for the Relief Society in November.  We tied fleece blankets for homeless youth in our county.  Lou loved this bear print.

We had a pretty good turn out and finished quite a few blankets.

Seth's boss generously gifted us tickets to the last home Utah Football game.  Phin has been asking to hang out with his friends from Elementary...so we took advantage of he opportunity and invited his two best friends.  It was so fun to see these boys back together...they ended up at three different Junior High Schools.  This was Phin's first football game and it was really a nail bitter.  I almost made the boys leave when we were down with seven minutes left in the game...but we stuck it out and the Utes made a great comeback.  Phin learned all about the ROTC doing push-ups after touchdowns, the cannon after touchdowns and all the fans waving huge flags.

Lou's enjoying the flowers that her class grew.

The day before Thanksgiving we met my bestie at Chick-fil-a for lunch.

Seth's work rented out a theater for Wicked 2.

Seth's boss also gifted him a "BORED" game.  It is basically a huge tablet with interactive pieces for the kids to play.

We spent Thanksgiving up in Cache Valley this year.  We started the morning out with a shotgun shoot at Jamie and Jotham's place.

Then we headed to Grandma Jo and Grandad's for Thanksgiving dinner.  The kids loved playing the BORED game with their cousins while we waited for dinner.

After dinner they had fun raking leaves in the yard.

The day after Thanksgiving, I set up our Christmas decorations.  Lou was so excited.  I put our nativity down on an end table and she can often be found playing with the nativity pieces.

Seth pulled out all of our Lego Christmas trains and decorations and the kids started building.

The next day we headed up to set up Nona and Papa's decorations.

Sarah was visiting with David so we got some cute newborn snuggles.

I did a pretty poor job of taking photos this month.. So here are a few more highlights for the month without pictures:

  • Our friend Jeremy Crook turned 50 and we went to his Surprise Party. Jamie and Jeremy were some of our best friends in South Carolina.
  • Silas learned all about emigration in Language Arts.  He interviewed Grandma Jo about a relative that emigrated to the United States.
  • Seth was able to join our niece Isabelle when she took out her endowments.  She was just called to serve in the California Ventura mission.
  • We went and saw my best friend Amy's son in his school play.  He was King Agnarr in Frozen Jr.
  • We hosted a pie and game night with friends.
  • Seth and I snuck away for a date doing temple sealings with members of our ward.
