BABY COTTON BIBS

 Adorable baby bibs......so sweet.  Love this one ...floral with pink frill.

This pink gingham is also pretty.

 This one looks kind of vintage with pretty floral motif.

I think I have made at least 2 dozen.......I just kept falling in love with them...

BUYING 2nd HAND

 Since moving to England 15 months ago I am drawn to visiting charity shops So I have decided to re start my blog by showing what I bought today for just £4.

It is a very pretty summer dress. I was attracted to the stripey fabric, a lovely nautical blue stripe. My intention is to use the fabric and make a couple of tote bags ready for summer holidays.  Otherwise it would look lovely with a red belt I think........St.Tropez ....here we come.

XMAS WALL HANGING

 Just wanted to share with you my latest sewing project. An alternative christmas tree.

 I added a layer of padding and backed it in a plain material...then added small red ribbons here and there. I chose a gold bias binding to edge it all. Finally I sewed two thin strips on the back to incase 2 thin wooden batons ,one at the top and one at the bottom.

So lovely and bright....hope my customer enjoys it for years to come...

XMAS KITTENS

These are so cute.....just couldn't resist making them...

MINI BUNTING

 Made this sweet mini bunting from all the left over scraps of material....can't wait to use it ...might give it a first showing next week at a craft fair I am doing. It will be nice to hang above the christmas hearts I have been making.

A little cushion thats so sweet.....it was love at first sight so I just had to make one....

SWEET STRAWBERRIES

 Time for some little strawberries....This is such a sweet little pattern I found on Pinterest.

 The combination of the pink alphabet and red strawberries go great together.

Made as pin cushions ready for my next market....

Just finished adding the last stitch to this sweet little girl. The bear is so cute...There are so many great ideas to be found on Pinterest....I have seen lots of lovely patterns and ideas for future use.

BLOOMS

 Just finished cross stitching the first of two towels. Took many hours but worth it.

 I have made them as a present for a very special person.

 Hope to make myself a pair identical.
